You know what makes this even more pathetic? Trump himself admitted to CoVid being deadlier than the flu and his brain slug wearing base still doesn’t believe it.

Holy shit the cult is too stronk. :joy:

It’s funny how many people don’t know how death certificates work, even though they’re all going to end up with one someday.

Yeah, that one was a tough one to explain to people back in February/March.

It wasnt readily apparently how many people the US has over 60. Heart issues, asthma and diabetes are also incredibly common; at least a lot more common than people realize.

Both of our presidential candidates are in the age sweet spot range for CoVid but age being a comorbidity isnt a big deal.

Aight then.

Because none of us are trying to read it after the fact.

Yo Rook. LTNS and such.

I agree with the covid raising the risk levels. It’s pretty much a,“Straw that broke the camel’s back” kind of thing. One thing I don’t like is the fear mongering of it all. Every death that happens is being tied to covid if at all possible and I think that’s putting unneeded stress on everyone. We the people do need to know what’s going on but the way the media is parading it around like the specter of doom is causing undue stress, especially when you see the same powers that be ignoring the lockdowns and mandates.

What fearmongering?

US death rate is sitting at 3.0 last time I checked. That’s terrible according to CDC’s own documents.

Hell they talk about this exact situation in a paper they wrote on Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions they wrote in 2014.

:expressionless:

There’s already articles on people experiencing cognitive decline, the aforementioned heart issues and a bunch of other things that have nothing to do with death. All of those would lead to big impacts on healthcare and the economy.

Fucking retard.

Edit: Love how this retard keeps spelling brain as brian. Dumb mother fucker.

what fearmongering? People have lost their jobs and in some cases, their businesses because they have been locked away in their homes over this. This while people are out rioting and protesting, basically insuring that things never get back to “normal” and what you’ll have is country-wide panic and fear. “Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. HATE…leads to suffering.” We’re well on our way.

Hey look guys, another linked article that quotes a study that the poster didn’t even bother to read.

Look at the initial interpretation of the linked study. First off, MISC is only “temporally associated” with covid, and the abstract explains that the long term effects are unknown. So for a pleb like you to make the claim that there are most definitely long term effects for a brand new virus is asinine.

The data gleaned in this study for interpretation was collected from multiple locations. Some locations flat out point to covid being a complete non issue with only one kid out of 171 covid cases actually dying, and even this number could be due to… .you guessed it, preexisting comorbidities, but we won’t even know in this case.

During the introduction, it also admits that it was a major obstacle to even differentiate kawasaki disease to MIS-C (the new condition that is only somewhat related to covid)

You with me so far? The study your article is referencing hand picked from a few hospitals, some of which have a 1 in 171 death (we also need more details on this case), they can’t reliably differentiate it from kawasaki’s disease, and we don’t even know if covid is the main cause of MIS-C. To add to all this, they don’t even claim to know what the long term effects are. Just look it up on the CDC website, don’t jump to conclusions

Then there is a hodge podge of medical terminology talking about levels of this and that present in who and what. I don’t understand pretty much all of it, but I guess the point is you probably don’t know shit either.

Anyways, this really all comes back down to Trump and how he coulda/woulda/shoulda mandated whatever quarantine. Problem is that shit still needs to be produced, work still needs to be done, the economy still needs to thrive. You don’t shut down an entire economy to save people who should already be responsible for their own quarantine regardless.

We know most of the “OMG COVID DEATHS” are from the comorbidified older generation. Most of them probably got quarantined too hard due to the covid scare, preventing them from seeking treatment for non covid related issues. Probably an article on that somewhere I can google for you to spend too much time trying to pick apart now.

Anyways, the methodology for tallying up “covid deaths” are fishy to say the least, and I’m not convinced that we need more masks (that don’t do shit) and quarantines.

You know…I might be crazy, but I don’t think that Raw Story place likes trump.

“You two know one of the best topics on both of you is this site dedicated to a fighting video game?”

“Jamie! Pull up the site and show them!”

Wait a minute, you’re complaining about methodology to defend a president who has flapped his gumd about unproven treatments twice?

Welp, im done scaling a ton of raw medical data for the day. I’m taking a break from this sperg shit.

Closing point

I honestly don’t even care if covid IS as bad as yall say it is, economic freedom takes precedence. Being able to eat is more important, so it’s shitty to say but… priorities. Still I think it’s way overblown, numbers are inflated, some of the studies seem shady. I’m not worried about single kidneyd, overweight diabetics with HTN dying a little bit sooner than they would have, well it sucks but jobs need doing and it’s really on them to self quarantine anyways, not us.

As for how in the fuck this relates to Trump? I dunno, guess he tweeted something about covid that’s not coterminous with whatever narrative you’re buying from the TV set this week. Bet the TDS would be strong even if he did the exact opposite of whatever you’re all bitching about anyways.

That was time well wasted

ML deadass posted so much shit the ignore feature isn’t catching everything. Just move on people, it’s not worth it.

And the funny thing is that excuse didn’t work when the last two administrations left behind a playbook to follow. They had the plans written and Trump threw it out.

Actually it is covid because normally they would not be dying

Comorbidity does not mean covid did not kill these normally functioning people

It means covid killed people who would normally be living pretty well if not for covid

Fucking misnomer there.

But hey are you a medical professional?

Also n95 is ineffective due to openings in the mask. You wear your normal mask over the n95. .
