Hey look guys, another linked article that quotes a study that the poster didn’t even bother to read.
Look at the initial interpretation of the linked study. First off, MISC is only “temporally associated” with covid, and the abstract explains that the long term effects are unknown. So for a pleb like you to make the claim that there are most definitely long term effects for a brand new virus is asinine.
The data gleaned in this study for interpretation was collected from multiple locations. Some locations flat out point to covid being a complete non issue with only one kid out of 171 covid cases actually dying, and even this number could be due to… .you guessed it, preexisting comorbidities, but we won’t even know in this case.
During the introduction, it also admits that it was a major obstacle to even differentiate kawasaki disease to MIS-C (the new condition that is only somewhat related to covid)
You with me so far? The study your article is referencing hand picked from a few hospitals, some of which have a 1 in 171 death (we also need more details on this case), they can’t reliably differentiate it from kawasaki’s disease, and we don’t even know if covid is the main cause of MIS-C. To add to all this, they don’t even claim to know what the long term effects are. Just look it up on the CDC website, don’t jump to conclusions
Then there is a hodge podge of medical terminology talking about levels of this and that present in who and what. I don’t understand pretty much all of it, but I guess the point is you probably don’t know shit either.
Anyways, this really all comes back down to Trump and how he coulda/woulda/shoulda mandated whatever quarantine. Problem is that shit still needs to be produced, work still needs to be done, the economy still needs to thrive. You don’t shut down an entire economy to save people who should already be responsible for their own quarantine regardless.
We know most of the “OMG COVID DEATHS” are from the comorbidified older generation. Most of them probably got quarantined too hard due to the covid scare, preventing them from seeking treatment for non covid related issues. Probably an article on that somewhere I can google for you to spend too much time trying to pick apart now.
Anyways, the methodology for tallying up “covid deaths” are fishy to say the least, and I’m not convinced that we need more masks (that don’t do shit) and quarantines.
