I don’t like his response at all because he’s passing the buck. It’s the difference between being proactive and reactive to such a large scale epidemic like Corona that was affecting whole countries at an incredibly fast penetration rate. No one had hard data on CoVid, where it was going to hit next and accurate/good testing kits in late january to mid-late Febuarary. With how people were starting to die off in Italy and in China it’s nearly always better to err on the side of caution over upside optimism.
