Voting not to certify is within their right to do. it’s a violation of the First Amendment booting anyone just because they voted for that.
The big problem is that Trump didn’t have any evidence to present, and he should have shut the fuck up about it, or at least his handlers should have told him to. If he had evidence of wrongdoing, I’m sure there’d still be plenty of people who didn’t want to hear it, but at least there’d have been something to look at. As it is, there wasn’t so he just looks like a clown again.

Is Moscow Mitch going to support impeachment in the Senate?
I always felt that Mitch the Bitch was supporting Trump only as long as there were political gains to be made. Now he has his all-Conservative Supreme Court, but Trump also costed him his control over the Senate, and with Trump being and more unhinged it would be a good moment to purge the Trumpers from the party and regain control by force.
Mitch may be a bitch, and an horrible person, and a disgusting chimera that looks like a turtle and sounds like a turkey, and a monster, and someone who probably beats baby seals to death as a hobby, in fact it was probably him that mutilated that manatee in Florida in an attempt to frame Trump, but he’s clearly not dumb: he pretty much achieved everything he wanted to achieved while he controlled the Senate.
