The Election Thread 2021: GGPO Trump! (Part 1)

Now now, I’m sure he’s just a good ol’ boy . . . never meanin’ no harm.

How did you come to that conclusion, do you have surveys, polls, what exactly?

There was this republican guy that was calling Corona a hoax, died from it, and then the people managing his official twitter kept with the GOP’s official line.

Literally kept spouting bullshit from the tomb.

Haaaaaaaa…

Well Republicans are objectively morons so it’s just calling a spade a spade

We literally have Trump along with other Republican officials denying CoVid and calling it a hoax on the news, Twitter and articles lmao. Multiple Republican officials dying from CoVid.

Then we have the base the gobbles up the shit and parrots it.

Top ten worst CoVid infection states are Republican.

Like the fuck it’s happening right in front of us.

Nothing on straight “deniers” though. This is more about behaviors.

Yes, we’re talking about behaviors not outright denying covid. They think they’re young and invincible, two different things. They think covid won’t kill them, which they are mostly correct.

2020 exit polls

89% of republican voters said covid 19 was not an issue at all

That’s fucking worse than I thought it would be, holy shit.

Not an issue, it doesn’t say the virus doesn’t exist.

84% also said climate change wasn’t a big deal

Like I said. Objectively morons

To answer your question there isn’t really a study for COVID “belief”.

Creating a poll questioning the existence of the virus would be the wrong move. The need to create a data point for “is water wet” is not something we need right now.

To be fair, not an issue and denying its existence are different things.

Really…after everything that has been seen from the conservatives during the year of our Lord 2020?

Well you got me there.

Calling it a non issue instead of out right denial. Big jump in cognitive ability

I figured splitting the atom as going to occur on that one. There really isn’t anything available for that. A research firm could take it on.

If you think covid denying is widespread why not do a survey, what if covid deniers comprise 20% of the population? You don’t think it’s a problem?

Similar to extreme left or right wing people, it’s a vocal minority. As shown in the studies people know it exists, but don’t care.
