Playing as Ryu in WO3 is pretty cool. Itās almost like Tecmo apologizing to NG fans. Unlocked Wei Yan and just noticed the silly weapons in the āstore.ā Boat oar, baseball bat, etc. Good times.
I wonder if the days of domestic release Musuo games are coming to an end. I hope not. I kind of want a Vita for DWN.
In case you didnāt know, those ājokeā weapons are actually stronger than the characterās 4th weapons save for a few characters.

I was just reading about that, in fact. A noob question: do any (/all) of the stage pack DLC packs have new battlefields, or primarily just new scenarios in the existing battlefields?
There is so much to do in this game! Iāve barely scratched the surface. My favorite so far are Deng Ai, Ma Chao, Wei Yan, Ryu, and that other guy from Jin you start with.
Another noob question: in which DW did Jin enter the picture? I donāt remember them in DW3 or 5, but Iāll concede they may have been in there.

I need to get in on some Warriors Orochi 3. 120 characters got my attention. My last Orochi game was WO1 on PS2 and that was the JP version. Had no idea what was going on. Still need to complete Conquest mode in DW7 and unlock everyone in Gundam 3 first. There should be a Musou game for everything.
As much as I dislike the JP voice only feature, Iād rather have that and a US release as opposed to no US release at all. KOEI can save their budget as long as I can get a game with translated text at least.
On a side note, Iām about 85/132(?) characters at S-Proficiency, Iām getting there at a good pace. Question though: how does the all bonds max achievement work? Do I have to select every character as my avatar hold banquets until everyone is max?
?? There isnāt a max bonds achievement for WO3.
There is one if you max bonds between two charactersā¦but thereās none for everyoneās bonds.
I got that easy by doing sticking with my team throughout the whole story mode.
The DLC stages reuse one of the maps from the scenarios, but the scenarios themselves are completely new, albeit a little ājokeyā i.e one of the stages uses Anegawa and the scenario is a party where everybody got drunk and a few of them get violent, causing you to beat to sense into them or another using Nan Zhong and Meng Huo thinks that Guo Huai is some type of haunting spirit so you have to help convince him otherwise. Donāt get me wrong, theyāre still fun to play though.
The Jin Kingdom was introduced in DW7.

Thereās an achievement for bonds but you only need to do it with two characters i.e Meng Huo having a maxed bond with Zhu Rong. You can increase the bonds by having the character youāre working on in your three man cell, completing missions for them, and doing banquets(or moon viewings - they require more work but its much cheaper). Iād say itāll take between 5-10 battles give or take to max a bond.
If anybody needs a tip for a certain achievement or part of the game just ask.
someone should play this with me on 360 one day. I need those achievements (and I actually want to play the game with someone else online for the hell of it.)
Also while iāll miss the NA voices, I do agree that iāll take that loss if it means weāll even get a release of warrior games. Though I think weāre fucked on the PS3/360 ports of SW3. (sadly) I really hate they bothered putting it on the Wii for the first run basically killing any chances for america to get the PS3/360 version.

I played DWO in its beta days but didnāt bother cause It just wasnāt what I expected after knowing about DWO.
I checked to see if anyone was looking for help, but no one was. Silly match-making system. Iād definitely be down to play online, that said.
