A reliable leak from Jump magazine has strongly hinted about a game with the title ワンピース 海賊無双 One Piece Kaizoku Musou. This is said to be published by Bandai-Namco and developed by KOEI-Tecmo, which would be the same as what was hinted in the teaser site posted previously. This would also mean One Piece will be the third official KOEI franchise Warriors after Gundam and Fist of the North Star, and the direct translation of the title could be One Piece: Pirate Warriors.

The leak also mentioned that this game will be exclusive for the PlayStation 3, which is also in accordance with the teaser site which currently also shows “For PS3”

Interesting…I bet those smoke in the teaser could be from Luffy.

Is grinding considered filler? If so than One Piece will be right at home as musou title.

This week’s Famitsu revealed that the Dynasty Warriors game for the PlayStation Vita will be officially named Shin Sangokumusou NEXT, or could be also known as Dynasty Warriors NEXT. The game is known for utilizing screen touches and slides to execute attacks.

A new peculiar thing which is also revealed in this batch is that the player character’s health gauge will not be shown on the screen. Instead, if the player has few HP left then the screen will flash red as the low health indicator.

There will be a playable demo of the game at the KOEI-Tecmo booth in the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. The available characters in the demo will be Zhao Yun, Xiahou Dun, Zhou Yu and Wang Yuanji.

Yeah, that sounds like One Piece to me. Funny I was thinking about this earlier. Since it’s a Bamco x Koei, I would think it would have to be some sort of Bandai-sponsored show, and the most notable ones would be:

Super Sentai franchise
Kamen Rider franchise
Precure franchise
One Piece

Super Sentai musou would seem redundant with that Sentai Musou-esque game coming out. Precure probably will never get a Musou game, mainly because it’s a girl-focused show. Seemed like it could have been either OP or KR.

Man you don’t have it as bad as me. I used to read One Piece when I used to actually subscribe to Shounen Jump but then I stopped when I decided to stop my subscription. Now I’m like 550+ chapters behind, **AND **I lost track to where I was, so I guess I’m going to start all over then. :shake:

Wow, Wang Yi’s aerial Musou is so cold… me likey. Guo Jia is now confirmed to be the ancestor of Guilty Gear’s Venom and Katekyo Hitman Reborn’s Gamma, and whoa what’s this? Pang De having a HORSE MUSOU? :wow:

Also, somebody on GameFAQs just uploaded a PS3 save with all maxed out characters, can anybody care to check if it actually works? I would right now but I don’t have access to my PS3 right now. Be sure to back up your own save first!

I never read One Piece…I only remember the ghastly 4kids cartoons Iv’e seen a few times.
Same thing with Gundam…I only watched Gundam Wing, and that’s it.

But I’ll still probably get it because it’s a musou game…if it comes to the states that is.
