I’m honestly not a fan of Unicorn so far. Feels too slow, and it’s only saving grace outside of Destroyer mode is C3.

Unicorn feels like one of those above-average MS in this game. Destroyer mode keeps it relevant, but the basic moveset is lacking. I’ll have to try it out some more once I get a pilot to a high enough level to unlock C5 and C6.

However, the new Burning Gundam is not disappointing at all. C4 (Burning Slash Typhoon) is now fully steerable and lasts for a long time, which is pretty nuts.

Level 3 Combination SP with Burning Gundam is still godlike. Combined with Magnetic Field and the C4…

Just picked up DWG3 and I’m loving it so far, maybe it’s because it’s my first DWG game. Anyway the gameplay is nice and smooth and I’m actually having difficulty on Normal since getting mobbed could get you killed if your suit isn’t as souped up and/or you’re being braindead. Anyway I picked 00 Raiser and the first combo I found is C2 > [S/SS/SSS]xN :lol:

Quite a few of the gundams are very strong. Strike Freedom not as beast mode as I would like but he’s still pretty damn good. 00 Raiser is stupid cuz of trans am. Unicorn is stupid cuz of D mode. Burning Gundam and Master Gundam have Super mode. Wing Zero is Wing Zero lolol.

Sonic Boost is the best attachment for just about every MS. Guard breaks for DAYS!

I’ve never played any of the previous Gundam Warrior games but I kinda fell like pickin part 3 up. When it comes to the game play, does it feel like a DW or SW or what?

Sonic Boost or Magnetism high. Depends on the MS although some benefit from either build equally. Burning Gundam comes to mind since he fights up close so either one works well for him.

Also seems like most hardcore players that played the jap version and post on gamefaqs feel God(Burning) Gundam is the best. I need to play him but I’m happy since he is one of my faves.

To me, it’s a mix between DW and SW. DW in the sense that charge enders go up to only C5 (SSSST; unless I haven’t gotten that far yet) and SW in the sense that the game has a Boost mechanic that let’s you move at a faster rate for a set amount of time but it can also be used as an escape like in SW when you’re getting mobbed, ie: in the middle of a combo, you see 2-3 officers coming to get you, cancel your combo into a boost to get away.

Also, is it weird that I changed the Jump and Boost buttons? Having R1 as jump is kind of uncomfortable to me. :lol:

I’d just like to emphasize how easily Unicorn can swarm a field, and just in case you somehow didn’t take the field, Destory mode activates after special… Haven’t played this as long as I had hoped but it’s pretty easy to see 00 and Unicorn are the top 5 in the game…and you start off with them pre-unlocked.

Much better than the 2nd and I clocked more than enough hours into that one.

Are any of the Charge enhancing Equips worth a slot? curious

Nah, not after you get high enough Tech Levels. Use either Sniper or Hard Strike to enhance that specific Charge attack.

Yeah, Chase Drive is real nice to take up a slot until you get your Tech Levels up.

Burning Gundam is a fucking destroyer of WORLDS!!

Quickest way to get lots of money and Rank 4 plans is to play online. You get the skills by doing memorial missions that grant them, so that’s never going to be fast.

Additionally, Turn X is way, way better than it was in DWG2. Wow.

Knight Gundam, what the fuck? Dude’s two shotting my Level 50 Domon with Rank 4 Burning Gundam on Hard.

EDIT: Just one-shotted by his C4. Yep, this dude’s gotta get the Sonic Boost infinite.

Airmaster equip = Love of my life in this game :lovin:

Makes any combo that involves juggling including the oh so simple “Dash into enemy > [SS] x infinity” juggle loop kill much faster.

Oh and about the story…

The “good” and “bad” guys defeat the Knight Gundam in their own scenarios and that’s it? I just finished “For Victory” and I’m kind of lost on where to go next.
