Reading the Steam reviews that the PC port of Arslan is one of the better ports Koei Tecmo has done…reading the reviews the main gripe seems to be with the 60FPS not being consistent.

Yeah…I got it for the Vita.
Toukiden Kiwami is fun…especially during infinite missions.
The weapon/Mitama combinations keeps it interesting for a while.

Dynasty Warriors 8 XL with the most, basically on brand recognition even if it was one of the first with port problems. Vita and PC have cross play together, I’m pretty sure, to help with those numbers of players in Kiwami.

Messed around with Arslan a little cause I had to install all the DLC. The intro mission is super simple but bonkers. My hit combo went from 100 to over 6000+ because of a mechanic they use in the game.its as kinda silly and made me feel good. Lol.
I’m going to mess around with it some more later.

and it’s been generations since we got a localized Samurai Warriors Empires game. that’s cool PS4 getting physical, ps3 and I think vita still getting at least digital.

I don’t know why I have all three Pirate Warrior games when I know next to nothing about One Piece but I’m glad I do because I’ve been playing OPPW3 and I am fuckijg looooooving it. I’m only on chapter 2 but I’ve been doing a lot of the dream log stuff and coin grinding.
It reminds me a lot of how Sengoku Basara is laid out. I really really like it.
Bit the bullet and bought Arslan: Warriors of Legend for PC…I see why the complaints about framerate drops are valid.
On high graphics setting the game lags more than 1/2 the time…particularly during musou and Mardan Rush.
Even though I dropped the graphic setting to Medium…I still get some drops in framerate.
Hopefully Koei will fix this eventually.
Despite that I feel that this is one of the better ports Koei has done for the PC.
Controls are better than in DW8:CE.
Not sure how long the story is…but it’s interesting.
Not really liking Arslan so far.
Recommended for fans of “Warriors” games and/or Arlsan story.
Would not recommend pay $60 though…get it on sale.

Think Im gonna bite and pickup Samurai Warriors 4-II. Never played a Samurai warriors before. So Looking forward to getting familar with the cast like in Dynasty Warriors

Kicked my ass the first run…but now I’m getting the hang of it.
I ended up getting 4-II on console. Its pretty fun. Ahh feels good playing a traditional musou. My only issue is how the story mode is handled. Even though I was aware of it before buying. But yeah other than that really fun. May double dip on it for vita since cross save
I was gonna hold off on this since I got Sengoku Basara but idk. It doesnt hit hard like a koei game. Just feels more bare but still enjoyable
Wait, BASARA doesn’t hit hard like Warriors? Are you sure? I feel like it’s the complete opposite. Characters feel way more powerful in BASARA to me

Ahh by hit hard I mean. It has smaller maps and the since of “im in a war” doesnt feel as big. Like i mean in the vibe. I guess because its more goofy and over the top its not as hype as the seriousness that DW brings. Im sure the effect should be the opposite lol
But yeah its just mostly the strong vibe difference is what I meant lol
