honestly with the DLC weapons becoming some of the characters actual EX weapons, Im very curious to see what they are going to do with the now owner-less weapons like the Lance, Nunchuku, Trishula, etc. Those were some really dope movesets and I hope they aren’t wasted. Or they could do a 180 and revamp and change Dynasty Warriors again completely with DW9 for the new Generation of consoles ( PS4/XB1)
The EX weapon changes I’ve liked the least are Lainshi’s and Liu Shan’s…I’m pretty much okay with everyone else’s.
I hope that in DW9 those two get their old EX weapons…and give the Bench and Deer Knives to new characters.

Dragon Quest Heroes is coming to the West…for PS4 only.
Wish it coming to ps3 also. I really do want the game, but it’s not enough to warrant a ps4 purchase when there’s nothing else I’d get on the system besides Infamous
I’d probably get PS4 for the Warriors games released so far and the next God of War…but if DW9 comes out on PC it’s going to be a longer wait.
I hope that the next Dynasty Warriors makes use of the power of the PS4.

Perona wasnt shit tier.

Finally gonna play playing SW4 after playing WO3:U for so long, lol.
Was mainly playing Gauntlet Mode, utilizing a fun/interesting exploit that I found regarding (true) musou attack usage stuffs… and quick (full) recovery of Musou gauge.
How it works:

[]Belt of Concentration - maxed, probably could work with non-maxed item.
[*]Verity (Orb) - for anytime True Musou attack stuffs, particularly for SW chars and chars with similar Musou attack traits. You could use a character link via a True Musou Burst to bypass Verity (Orb) stuffs.

the method(s):
DW Musou chars types:
Have ‘Glory’ Formation selected and press Musou button. Character will intiate (True) Musou Attack and musou meter will be used with the appropriate amount. However, musou will instantly refill afterwards, allowing for continuous (True) Musou Attack usage, though YMMV with a DW Musou chars type and their individual Musou Attack properties.
SW Musou chars types:
method 1
Use (True) Musou Attack without ‘Glory’ Formation selected and character will initiate the attack, with musou depletion as a result. However, if you ‘switch’ over to ‘Glory’ Formation at any time, character will initiate True Musou Attack ender, and once the attack sequence is completed, musou will recover afterwards, provided you ‘switch’ over to ‘Glory’ Formation afterwards.
method 2 - True Musou Attack ender bypass
Use (True) Musou Attack with ‘Glory’ Formation selected and character will initiate only the ending sequence, skipping the attack filler beforehand. Musou gauge will recover upon completion.
Hope this helps and works out for the rest of you, who may be interested in this technique application of musou stuffs.
SW4 is pretty engaging/fun so far, with the pre-battle (episode) stuffs/convos feeling like NHK samurai drama stuffs.

Is SW4-2 coming out any time soon? I was thinking of playing SW4 but I don’t really want to if an improved version is already coming out. Or does it at least let your transfer data over?
If they’re really planning on making DW9 then they should combine Vanilla XL and Empires into one whole game. It’ll give much more replay value as you’ll have more to do.

DYNASTY WARRIORS 8 Empires Free Alliances Version is out for the PS3…it’s a free to play version of DW8:E which has Free mode, but has a much shorter CAW slot, and less CAW clothing parts available than the retail version.
Those who play the F2P version can play online with those who own the retail version…and can import CAWs from DW7:E data save.
I’m gonna be messing with the F2P version until I eventually decide to get the retail version…possibly on PC.
Is empires 8 actually better than xl? I bought it a few weeks ago but have not taken the time to crack it open yet.
