It sucks because we can’t have great things like DW3 again if that were the route they went.

Wouldn’t mind English dialogue if the VAs didn’t change so frequently (though it’s understandable).
OTOH, it does bug me when I have to take my eyes off the action in order to read dialogue exchanges mid-battle.
It’s weird because I never had a problem reading and playing DW games until lately. Though I think a lot of it has to do with the mass increase of missions to do during the game since SW1. (and unlike SW series, DW doesn’t actually keep their missions on the screen but just blinking green squares. thus forcing you to look through the log.)
So in Bladestorm: Nightmare there will be a nightmare mode where the player deals with goblins, ogres, dragons…and evil versions of the famous officers in the Hundred Year War.

If that is true for the West versions…I’m gonna start playing that game again.
I just started playing it two days ago. I’m really digging the traditional square to triangle for close-quarters combat, and the new triangle-to-square strings for general mook slaughtering, but the triangle strings being balanced by having the generals parry that shit back in your face.
Additionally, being able to pick another character and order them to go someplace else, stay still, or guard you is pretty useful for accomplishing the “oh fuck, gotta get here fast” missions. Being able to switch between the two on the fly is just icing on the cake.

I remember trying to play the Bladestorm demo back when it dropped but it was one of the few games that suffered from “widescreen only” display so if you had a standard definition TV, you were either squinting your eyes to try and see words or you just didn’t play. I really wanted to play it though so i’m willing to give this one a go.

Samurai Warriors is getting an anime series next year…
I’d personally like to see Dynasty Warriors get one before SW…hell even a Warriors Orochi anime would be pretty cool.
not saying i’m mad. Just would be nice to see more rep for The three kingdoms in anime outside of what’s already there.

Out of all the new characters in SW4 who do you love using the most? For me I’d def say Toyohisa.

Technically Munenori debuted in SW: Chronicles 2…but I really like how strong his attacks look.
Koshosho is a close second.

From what I’ve been reading…it’s more like Samurai Warriors 4: Complete edition.
I think it may have something to do with the ongoing legal battle with Capcom over Mixjoy.
So it’s looking like the West will also be getting the Edit Demo…and the free trial version of DW8:E.
