They really need to show the exact differences between DW8 and XL on the PS3 and PS4 if they want me to buy the complete edition.

Haven’t bought a mainline DW in awhile, will get the PS4 version.
Will double dip for Vita if it has cross save, hope that Shin Gundam Musou comes over too so can I crush mooks with Big Zam.
DW8:XL has cross save so you can use saves between all 3 formats…at least in JP.
Likely it will come to US ports.

Gematsu has some blurry-ass PS3 to PS4 comparison pics. Some textures look better, but there doesn’t look to be much of an improvement.
And someone in the comments section posted some hi-res PS4 shots.
Yeah so according to TK’s community manager Insp. Chin…the PS3 saves can’t work on the PS4.
Meaning if I do get it for PS4…I start the grind over…that sucks.

I’m kind of confused because it looks like in the trailer that the game can cross save on all 3 devices…gonna have to ask some Japanese folk.
Looked like it was stating the game is on all 3 systems to me. Didn’t get the impression it was saying cross-save worked on all 3 devices.
Damn this One Piece 2 battles is pretty darn good…is the first one worth snagging?
Meh. I’d say no. First OPPW follows the story somewhat, but If you already have the second I’d skip it.
The Tachibanas return in SW4.
Figured so…I hope there is at least some cross save between the PS3 and PS Vita ports.

Been on a DW7 Empires binge lately. At first I mainly liked the Empires spin-off for CAWs, but as of late I’m also starting to prefer how the campaign itself is structured. Having to sequentially capture enemy bases gives a bit more purpose to wiping out peons, whereas in proper DWs they were mostly collateral damage as I went for generals. There are some things I miss (like the greater variety of scripted events/mission objectives), but for the most part I’m fairly addicted to it.
Another plus about Empires is that, usually being the last iteration of each sequel, it gets whatever additional characters/moveset de-clonings/etc its predecessors saw, all wrapped up in one package.
