Not sure if I would want to do the grind again…but a chance to play as the added characters from Special and Hyper may change my mind.
As long as the DLC from the Vanilla work on Ultimate.
I didn’t go balls deep in the grind with WO3, so I’d be okay with playing WO3U.
a few things to ponder here
- will this get an english subs release?
- Xu Shu is a good add, but will all the characters from DW7 have their new weapons from DW8???
If the anwer to those 2 questions are yes then I’d be down to throw some money at it.
Here’s Tamamo-No-Mae…
…and a scan confirming that Xu Shu’s appearance in WO3:U.

DOA’s Kasumi and Yinglong (A Chinese Dragon God) joins WO3: Ultimate…
They’re adding more?? I would think that 132 would be more than enough.
Sucks the US doesn’t get the Collector’s Edition…
US not getting a collectors edition unfortunately always sucks with the warriors games.
I wanted the SW2 and WO1 collectors.
Fuck NA for not liking the Warriors games enough for disc based releases.
Well Dynasty Warriors 8 broke street date or leaked in some places (pretty sure in Asia)…and word is that the 360 version has issues with slowdown, particularly when there a lot of characters on screen.
…well good thing I saw this. I know I said I wouldn’t buy another warriors game on the 360 but I still don’t have a PS3 and I really need new warriors.
if that’s the case, I may just shut up and buy a Ps3 with warriors 8.
Word is that Insp. Chin (Koei Community Manager) tweeted that the slowdown will not be in the NA/EU 360 version…still proceed with caution.
Not sure why it is present in the Asian version…I think it was probably bootleg.
I decided not to get it first day…gonna wait and see some gameplay clips from the NA versions.
I’ve always played local 2 player co-op in Musou games so I’m used to any slowdowns. Try doing a double true musou attack while in the middle of a pack of fodder. It’s like you’re playing a powerpoint presentation. However I can understand why this would be new to you guys as the games in SP mode are usually consistent and don’t suffer from framedrops.
if you’ve played enough co-op of DW3 like I have with a friend, you’re fairly used to slowdown and lack of enemies on screen.
game was still mad fun regardless. Also wasn’t WO2 supposed to suffer from slowdown? I remember that being an issue but I didn’t really see much of it when I bought the game.
