The Dynasty/Samurai/Gundam/Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) Warriors thread

wow 100 slots… hahaha im playing 5e and there is 10 =(
empires is definitely shaping up to be amazing, and i cant wait to play strikeforce tomorrow, wooo!

Blue max at 92 green at 96 and red at 100. Out of the countless shit I got I found out that the best one for me was green 96 with I think + ice+ flash+true mosu+ renbu+mystic seal. I thought it was better than red 100 and same attributes.

the transformations are amazing

What the fuck did they do to the fucking god of war! He look like a freak. This nigga so popular that both the police force and the mafia bow down to him and you going to turn him into a nigga with spikey ass red hair that look like mufasa?:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Yargh, I’m not really feeling the transformations. Too ornate (much more so than the regular designs) for my tastes.

Come to think of it, that’s probably my only fault w/ Warriors Orochi…didn’t really care for the overly elaborate designs of the new characters it introduced. I liked the god-awful PS3 Genji: Days of the Blade’s versions of Yoshitsune/Benkei more than Koei’s.

i wont lie, dian wei and pang tong look pretty sweet

cao pi is dracula btw

Dian Wei just turn into a new version of Cinder from KI. Gangsta ass Xiahou Dun got turn into a fucking world of warcraft character.:confused:

Cao Ren looks kool IMO, Dong Zhou turn into a pig?

better than zhang fei turning into blanka

This guy’s playing on Easy, but regardless, the scope of Seabook’s final mission (Ghost of Disturbance) should be clear. On Normal, I did this with SMS Team, and we had a hell of a time. I’m going to try it on Hard eventually (and drag SMS with me :badboy:).

Part 1 -
Part 2 -
Part 3 -

My big issue with DWG2 is that every mission isn’t this epic. Most are actually quite dull, including Domon’s final mission (which should’ve been exactly what Seabook’s is above). Seabook’s final mission reminded me of the end of Season 1 of JLU, which is always good in my book.

EDIT - Actually, even on Easy it’s pretty tough, from what I can see in the video.

Is anyone else having issues playing DWG2 on xbl or psn? I’m can’t even find games.

Agree, but there are some pretty goods one that makes up for the dull ones. Overall pretty good game. Gundam fans, especially U.C. ones shouldn’t miss this one.

It really isn’t that good of a game. It’s great for the mostly mindless hack and slash. I find it fun (and I HATE most Gundam shows), however it really does deserve the bad reviews it’s getting. The few great missions don’t make up for the numerous missions that resemble Amuro’s “Duel in Texas” mission, or the numerous others that aren’t nearly as tedious but not nearly as great as Seabook #5.

I haven’t tried, and I must say I don’t really care to. Maybe if there was online coop like there should’ve been.

Fun game with flaws but also have it’s moment? Overall DW & SW were better.

Well the main sell point of the game is Gundam tbh. If you don’t like Gundam, yeah won’t be a good game. (Yup I am looking the game as a Gundam fan.)

‘Duel in Texas’ kind of mission really freaking sucks.

Question for those who are playing DW: Gundam 2.

After each mission you complete, it’ll show what parts you have gained through the battle. I’ll take them but when I go on to the next battle they aren’t equiped. Does it only let you take one part? Because the first time I pressed accept for the Torso part and that is upgraded, but all the other stuff that was there wasn’t. Then on the second mission I accepted the Left Leg first and its upgraded, as well as the Torso still being upgraded. So does it only let you take one part?

Game is pretty fun so far, but I hope you get some more attacks. Its even less dynamic than the DW games. At least in Dynasty Warriors you can do a few different combos, in this one theres like maybe 3. But I’m still likin’ it.

If you mean the mobile suit lab, when you choose to upgrade a part. The lab will take the part away for 1 mission. In the meantime the slot will remain empty until you go back to the lab and pick up the part.

If you mean the new parts you get from after a mission, once you accept the part it should equip to the MS automatic. Unless it is a grant MS, in order to play as a grant MS first you need to get parts for all 5 slots for that MS. After that the game will tell you the MS is completed, but all the slots will be empty again; so the first Torso for a GM will be used to build the GM, the second Torso will be an upgrade, once you get the third Torso you can compare and choose to replace the second one or just keep the second Torso. If you upgrade this way the effect is immediate, no need to wait like the MS lab.

Koei Warriors’ DW6:Empires Preview

This game is looking more hype now…

hell ya
sounds like a hell of a time
expansive CAW has got me really interested, considering 10 slots max for 5empires really didnt do a lot
but now i can have most of china run by people i have created to resemble real life friends (nerd meter = max)

and the ronin part sounds likes 5XL’s dynasty mode + empires, also a wicked combo

july cannot come quick enough

well i suggest if you have a psp to get strikeforce
its basically monster hunter + dynasty warriors, damn good times

now all we just need now is dw with online play. then we’ll have a real war lol

Lu Meng needs his own Musou story post-DW6…he’s awesome.
and to whoever said that Taishi Ci’s english voice sound like crap…I agree. He sounds like a total wuss.
