Li Dian has also been confirmed for DW8ā¦via twitter.
This means that the Battle of He Fei is going to get more exposure this time
Cao Cao has been decloned.
Word is that the official reveal from Koei is going to be big.
so far looks interesting. Zhou Yu didnāt really need another redesign. I thought his current new design was good. Same with SSX. Give the redesigns to characters who really need it.
Would be nice to you knowā¦not have any clone warriors at all. Iām fine waiting a few years if it means decloning characters but thatād be stepping out of Koeiās yearly warriors cycle. Though iām curious if theyāre keeping the DW7 weapon style (which Iām personally not a big fan of.) Iād rather everyone have 1 unique weapon or 1 weapon with a unique moveset and a cool looking weapon to differ from the other same type weapon users.
I want free mode to return for both sides. Iām only hoping that āwhat ifā addition is either it or as close as a DW3 free mode weāll get.
I still donāt get why theāre making the series a PS3 exclusive again⦠And not releasing DW7E and XL on Xbox even after the fact that they ported Vanilla just feels like a slap in the face. Guess Iāll be sticking to DW6ā¦
They announced it would be PS3 only in Japan only.
If they do decide to bring it overseasā¦a 360 port is most likely.
Alsoā¦consider that the series doesnāt do well overseas, and it would be more convenient to port on PS3 overseas since itās the system of choice in Japan.
Bleh, not entralled that SSX seems to be getting younger & younger ever since DW6. Also, fuck all these new clean-shaven, pretty-boy characters. What the fuck happened to the ROTK designs where everyone had epic beards and/or looked homely as fuck & only Zhao Yun/Zhou Yu/Zhang He were the token metros.?
I would raise the odds to 85% likelihood, personally. Koei has pretty much made it clear that theyāre not going to be spending the money on dubs anymore, as made evident with WO3, OP and now SHM. As long as that remains the case, SCEA likely wonāt budge on allowing Koei to get disc versions out for Western retail markets.
Hence why I said ānewā characters. Out of all the new faces, the last guys they introduced that looked like they might actually be generals were Pang De & Ding Feng.
