I’m working on my Apprentice and I’m doing nothing but leveling tower stats. I just capped my tower attack damage last night (+70…honestly I was hoping it would’ve gone on forever) and I’m not sure if I should work on tower attack speed or splash radius yet. Does the splash radius affect anything but the fireball tower?
And when am I supposed to be able to afford a pet? I have like 50k mana and all of the pets in my store are way above that.

Tower Attack Speed is probably the most important stat for a Tower Apprentice. So, go for that next. Splash radius is not affected by any stat. It is a set amount. The Tower Area of Effect stat increases the attacking range of the Towers.
The quality of the items in your Tavern are based on the last mission/difficulty that you completed. In order to get more affordable pets, you should complete the levels at lower difficulties (the earlier the mission, the weaker and more affordable the pet).

I need this same info but for a Aura monk. I now fully understand how Strength Drain aura is possibly the most awesomest aura ever.
In fact, is there somewhere there’s stat importance for characters whether they’re dps/tower/trap/aura? :3
This patch is supposed to be released later tonight, but the Mod Tools and Capture the Flag will not be released until Thursday or Friday.

Fixed issue where DarkBot and Spanky pets weren’t counting towards the “Gotta Catch Em All!” Achievement. Enabled Guardians to boost ***multiple ***nearby Defenses! This is a new, upgradeable stat on all Guardians (only upgrades once every 10 levels so you need to be packing a high-level Guardian to get the most out of it). Increased Guardian boost-amount exponents by 100% so their Boost-stat value will have more of an effect as well. Enjoy it, it makes Guardians an incredibly powerful buff especially when used in team groupings!

Reduced enemy ramp by over 60% for Survival Enemies (so a much quicker affair now), but now the Survival/Pure-Strat difficulty ramp vastly increased once you get past Wave 10. Moved Giraffe Pet earning to Wave 25 survival.

Reduced Van Wolf Damage by 40% more, and Sic damage by 30%, was too OP for what it took to earn them.

Maaaan - I JUST grinded a decent launcher for Assault. I guess I’ll have to go through it the real way? :T At least the launcher won’t go to waste, I’ve got a brother I’ll offload it too. 2500 + 11000 pierce is still a decent weapon.
Anyone want to do insane summit? 70 Huntress with blasticus.
Figured I’d give survival on Ramparts a try on easy, just to see if I could solo it, friend hops on around wave 21 (lucky bastard) overall it took 6 and a half hours and he got the MUCH better Giraffe… sigh…

Yep, also had mostly 20 upgrade gear, now I’m finding gear with 30+ upgrades… I went from being close to top-tier geared on 5 different characters to mid tier overnight.

Yeah the awesome Random drops are called “Super Loot” apparently. Though in 7.10 they had the RNG set-up incorrectly, and WAY too much Super Loot was dropping. With the current 7.10b, Super Loot is supposed to be more rare, so I hope you farmed it last night.
They are to set-up the new difficulty, Nightmare.
EDIT: TrendyNET is re-buffing the drop-rate of Super Loot in 7.10c. Everyone was complaining that it wasn’t fair that other people got Super Loot easy, while they would have to farm for it. Wow, bunch of whiners.
Well, they did need to re-patch the loot in 7.10b, they set the loot threshold far too low by accident. People were finding garbage gear on the final wave of insane spook. You had to get to wave 19+ on insane survival to get any decent gear.
I do like that the giraffe buff is retroactive, although the giraffe I have is still meh at best.
