Thank you all so much for giving us this show. Fantastic debut episode, I hope there are many more to come!
Vic - Thanks so much for the shoutout to EGM at the end. Since I was like 9 years old my parents have given me a subscription to EGM… I loved coming home and seeing the new issue there. I remember reading about Sushi X, I remember reading the first Hsu and Chan strip, as well as the last. I still had my subscription until the last issue. It really broke my heart to see them go. :[
Also, I will be flying out for Bar Fights! Can’t wait to see you there!
Yeah, me and the entire DFS staff loved EGM. How fulfilling that their Sheng Long April Fool’s joke made it all the way into SF4. The EGM legacy continues on:)
Well be back next week with another episode of The Dogface Show. Till then please enjoy this brief interlude featuring every oldschool players favorite grappler.
Vic sits down with multiplaycial icons Combofiend and edma to kick off the second episode of The Dogface Show. This week’s topics include SoCal arcades and Combofiend’s secret SF4 training routine. What do Ed and Peter think of online players? What are the essential arcades in socal? (What is multi-play-cial?)
It’s a little more serious than the first one and focuses on tournament performance. How much practice time do top players put in daily? How far would Ed and Peter drive for quality competition? When it comes to major tournaments, what sets Evo apart? How did Combofiend join ?The Cabinet Club??
