I hard disagree. Gaston is legit my favorite Disney character. The only character that rivals him and sometimes (but rarely) trades places with him is Oswald.
Yea I didn’t Gaston was bad. He’s awesome.
I don’t want to know more about him tho. Knowing more about him humanizes him and ruins him. He’s not supposed to be a “person.”
So no thanks on that prequel.
I just hope it pushes my narrative more of him being the true hero of BatB and that he was unjustifiably murdered by a shit bag abusive prince.
It’s an age old debate my friend and I have had for almost a decade lol
Naw pretty sure Gastons just a scumbag lmao. But you do you bro.
WHY?
It’s asking for plot holes to be filled that aren’t there to be filled.
Heroes don’t cower/beg for mercy then run up and stab someone in the back. That’s villain shit.
Gaston was a borderline rapist in the cartoon. Strangely enough, he’s a lot of feminists favorite Disney villain.
Not surprising considering he’s the literal representation of peak masculinity and many don’t want to admit it but they like that aspect of him.
Idk, broke ass Aladdin hooked up with the princess while Gaston was chasing the girl next door.
If animals count the dog from Lady and the Trapper raw dogged some trust fund chick and became a house husband for free
Does anyone know if they’ve changed the aspect ratio of the early seasons of The Simpson’s back to their original?
I don’t believe they have made any changes since they were thrown on there.
Onward being released digitally tonight and will be available on Disney+ 4/3

Shit, I feel for folk that have their pay tied to the box office of that and other recently released films. It looked like it was going to do fine before all this stuff hit critical.
There are some folks that prefer the theater experience. This is not a loss for them.
I am sure that going forward people are gonna put in clauses that will scale money gained through a home video release
We have a 70 foot theater screen + incredible surround sound at my local theater that really makes seeing certain movies in the theater worth it. 1917 and Ford vs Ferrari were both incredible to see at that theater. But having a 2.5 year old, I would really like the chance to stream a new movie so that other movie goers would not have to deal with my kid yelling at the characters on screen.
I didn’t mean movie goers, I meant folk like the cast or crew who get pay bonuses based on box office performances.
As someone that loves the theater experience it sucks not going but it saves me money in the long run.
Same here. I expect more direct-to-digital releases.
