Seems confirmed. RETARDED move if you ask me. I can’t see Way doing Deadpool justice, although I’ll be picking up the next Wolverine Origins before I say for sure. I just don’t think they should cancel C&DP. Fabian knows Deadpool like the back of his hand, and knows how to HUMANIZE Cable. Plus, I think both characters are enhanced by the dynamic of their relationship (no homo?). There is a shit-ton of interesting stuff they could do with the two after Messiah Complex. I don’t know if the cancellation is strictly due to poor sales, is an attempt to push Cable into the forefront, or in response to some of the more homoerotic tones of the comic, but I still think it’s bullshit.

I dunno I just don’t like him like any other Marvel character, or rather there’s nothing to like about him for me. …but if he gets cured from that and starts kicking ass again, then by all means go on ahead, just so long as he doesn’t steal any panel time from good ol’ Wade, Bob, Sandi, Outlaw, Blind Al & Weasel.
Agent X as a fat slob is messed up. Man why should characters pay for bad editorial decisions? The whole Agent X thing was just a way for Marvel to stop paying Liefeld royalties. They changed Cable’s name too for a bit for the same reason. Ah well, on the plus side Deadpool has a thing for Big Bertha, maybe Agent X has a shot now. 
During the new DP issues, DP should start the DeadCorps (Green Lantern Corps spoof)…or just change Agency X in DeadCorps.
