With the hard on Hollywood and popular media has for Wolvie I seriously wouldn’t be surprised if they turned him into an even closer clone of him (DP was originally supposed to be like Wolverine part B, let’s be honest, but he was just too awesome to stay like that).

Caught up on the recent Deadpool issues. Its not anything great, but it is pretty funny. I thought the first arc was the best, but the last issue was cool because Die Hard is my favorite movie ever. “Whoops Bob, no bullets!” “Now I have a machine gun. Ho.Ho.Ho.” Plus, that whole scene with Fishhead and Huey Lewis was classic. “Whats wrong Huey Lewis? The heart of rock’n’roll stop beating?” I’m definitely looking forward to this Magnum Opus crossover.
@Grog- Umm IIRC, when Liefield created DP’s design it looked similar to Deathstroke, but then Fabian told him to change it. Did the ‘make him Logan 2.0’ come later on in the series?

For all we know though they could have just made the toy that way, plenty of times toys based on movies have added stuff that never existed in a movie. There’s still hope!
It’s a Superhero-Squad toy. For being all deformed and cute, they’re usually pretty accurate to the source material. Meaning he probably has those blades at some point in the movie.
Honestly, if he tapes them, that is so totally something Deadpool would do to fight Wolverine and you all know it and it would be hilarious.

Honestly, I’m guessing it’s going to be something like this. Or it will be the point where Deadpool loses his sanity completely… over jealousy of Wolverine or something Hollywood like that. Either way, he is just taping them to his arms. No reason why they have to stay there.
