I got the Cable & Deadpool trades 1-5. It’s a good fix, but I’m a BIG Taskmaster fan, and I want to read Agent X as well.
Pained Auron, since you sport DP (I’m surprised you didn’t create this thread) Give me a good reading guide, I’ll pick some stuff up thursday or friday (Along with Invincible).
Agent X (and its precursor Taskmaster limited series) probably has the most taskmaster canon he’s ever seen. Too bad they destroyed his character development after that.
I’m used to having characters I like being shitted on, nothing new there buddy.
Yeah I’ll definitely pick me up some Agent X stuff, I still don’t understand how he relates to Wade, even after his appearance in Cable & Deadpool.
get deadpool classic (try to ignore the liefeld art. it’s hard but you can do it) finish getting all the trades for c&d. you should also get (download) agent x. only last three issues are important.
Sounds good to me, I’ll start buying this week and get some hilarity in my life. God knows I need it.
C&D plots were kinda out there, but the bonding was neat. Two favorite things so far:

Heroes for Hire cameo, the original duo need to come back in a serious way, a mini would be nice.

The film noir Deadpool murder solving expedition, funny and sad all rolled up into one. I honestly thought the killer was the big former villain with the Tom Selleck mustache trying to frame Deadpool, that arc in general seemed uncomplete to me.

Word on the Marvel grapevine is that Deadpool may team up with X-force in an upcoming arc soon. Definitely can’t wait to see that.

Anyone actually excited for the Way/Dillon fiasco they’re planning? I saw a cover for issue 1 recently.
it’s not dillon. They got rid of him because he didn’t draw wade sexy enough. They instead got the guy who was drawing new warriors whose name escapes me at the moment.
That’s a relief. I can’t stand Dillon, at least his latest work.
Daniel Way makes Steve Dillon’s art look like shit. That takes some real skill - to write stories that make the guy who drew Preacher look bad.
