The Deadpool Worshipers of the Duct Tape Thread

It’s Rob Liefield anyhow, he’s the man who did this;

HELLO FRIENDS

deadpool was the first comic i ever started to collect since 1997?
i think i picked up #7 as my first from a convenience store, then asked my dad to drive me to a comic store to pick up 1-6. i managed to get them all minus #3, which has evaded me until i finally ebayed it a few months ago.
but since 1997 i have the circle chase miniseries, encyclopedia, mini-deadpool team up, the flashback -1 issue, new mutants #98, 1-69# of the original run (minus the death annual, which ill ebay someday im sure), deadpool + cable 1-3… then i stopped because i dont like cable, i picked up dp/cable as of 43 again and ran it to its end at 50.
all in all, they fit comfy together, i should just get the death annual and lock it up forever, because i doubt i want to get 4-42 of dp/cable
either way, i never enjoyed a comic as much as i did when i was 14 and started reading kelly’s amazing writing

i will see the wolverine movie just to see him on the big screen, even though one time in wizard they suggested that henry rollins would be good to play him as well :stuck_out_tongue:

we add another to our legion. as it was written, so it has come to pass

Cable was only in the DP series to boost sales; you can just skim thru whatever dialog he says and you’d prob. not miss a single thing.

that deadpool encyclopedia is tough to find!

it is tough to find
i dont even remember when i got it now, when it came out or in some back issue box of a comic store

either way, im glad i did!

i should take a picture of my collection and post it, we can all then enjoy the series and bask in its glory, then i can wrap it up in a box and bury it forever and ever

I’m working on getting the '97 run, I have everything before it except for the rare expensive stuff (encyclopedia, mission improbable etc), only up to 19 though and I ran out of cash

oh dude
you gotta hit the mid 20’s
25 is the big issue where he saves the world and kicks stevey rogers in the balls
its fantastic

you are basically at the ajax arc, right?

dp: i’ll ro sham beu you for it
cap: ro sham beu? what is that?
dp: it’s easy watch kicks cap in the nuts ro sham beu. i win. see how simple that was?

He just killed Ajax in 19, I’m just flat broke for the next couple of weeks so I can’t get 20 yet

and because no one asked
lets bask in the glory

^Awesome

:hitit:

That’s all kind of ridiculous.

Yeah that’s no joke right there, but at least I have my Death Annual :stuck_out_tongue:

But yeah damn that’s very nice!

Anyone else feel that that the DP and Logan thing in Wolverine Origins is sorta like Batman: The Killing Joke, only Joker (DP) is driving Batman (Logan) nuts?
Seriously that’s some fucked up shit DP’s doing, I’d mistake him for a Skrull @_@.
Oh and “Bicycles, Sucker!”

Let’s not compare anything Daniel Way writes to The Killing Joke. That’s just wrong.

haha ya i should probably stop procrastinating with it and get it already
took me 11 years to get issue 3 though haha

I agree. Let’s not compare those two. Killing joke is awesome. Kinda feel bad cause I just read it this morning for the first time.

For those of you who don’t know, Matlock Season 1 will be released to DVD later this month, if you are a dedicated DP FAN, do not disappoint Blind Al; GET IT!

!!!

The Death annual is probably my favoritisitistest single DP issue of all. For those whom have read it, there’s something rather interesting revealed in there about what Death/Thanos did to Deadpool that i can’t recall if HE even knows. Was it ever brought up again in any other comics? Or i guess it’s just standard lore now.
