everything startet with a “short time replacement” and a foult of the organistation (they should disagree in the first place…)… i dont get it from the first place why anybody would kick a teammember so short. that this result in confusion is normal isnt it?

its a hughe change when everybody name the teammembers a lot earlyer and one team got special treatment with a surprise player…
the orga make a hughe load of bullshit to allow it in the first place but to think about the bad sportsmanship for kicking jan out is althou bullshit… (even if he says yes to it; who would not allow it with the pressure of the others…)

On the other hand it was pretty obvious that it would happen considering Marn’s rants about replacing team members the last couple days; and the Foreign tournaments being typically less prepared for all the last minute drama.
I think it’s better to run this the way Evo runs the team tournaments and the 5on5, register the captains only, and don’t lock in the teams until the event. I don’t think it’s a japan issue as much as an experience issue, as i’ve seen the same types of issues at SF events and MLG events.
Nope. Just look at the Japanese dudes that show up for Evo. Always have a translator, and even the ones that do speak coherent English speak it rather poorly.
