haha i think evo (and devastation / sbo quals) has spoiled us here in the west. I don’t think there will be a live stream (especially if there won’t be a live stream for sbo). Although God’s Garden did tease us with that live stream, I don’t think we should get our hopes up for live streams for Japanese events for the rest of the year. The most we can hope for are youtube videos.
Perhaps next year, when Street Fighter is recognized as a very popular event we will be seeing live streams for every major tournament. also, you have to pay to get into sbo as a spectator, so I doubt they’d let you see it for free. And someone has said there might not be dvd’s this year?
SBO streaming that one year in 2007 was just a promotional thing and SBO needs to make money any way they can so they’ll be doing the typical release DVD’s after event thing again.
I mean Chun’s a shitty character but I don’t get how she’s a half assed viper. If anything, she’s closer to bison w/o a fireball. No AA, pretty good footsies, pitiful damage and fairly linear.
Considering the team name includes the words “Makoto no Balrog” in it, and the notation for the character Makoto is playing is VE, i feel same in assuming it’s claw and not dictator.
Pool C shows more promise for Boxer players at SBO. Maybe Blanka has to worry now. :lol:
I may be a scrub but I’ll like Viper over Chun till the end. Or until Chun is fun again. Make her Ultra ridiculously high damaging and easy to combo into and I’ll pick her. I want that broke ass Alpha 2 Chun stuff. Broke but fun.
