the REAL disrepect is not even putting the other two american teams in the tourny. evo falls all over itself and bends rules to make sure that japanese players are accomodated, even the not so famous mvc2 ones. and that’s because anyone that is willing to fly 5k miles to play a game they should at least be given the opportunity to participate.

That sucks Art/marn. The whole thing seems very low, I don’t see how it was allowed to be the way it was. I know that this “SHIOZAWA” doesn’t really matter that much, but that besides the point. And it’s also not the point that yall lost after the re-start.
Why didn’t they say something before they played and lost? That’s like in Basketball, calling a foul after you see your shot missed. What’s from keeping them from complaining after they loss again? Making up another excuse? I wouldn’t be very happy and it would effected my performance as well.
It’s not a legit win, but there’s not much you can do about it now, except call them out for it. The people who matter know it was a low blow.

regarding usa team incident, both teams are at fault. japn team should have complained sooner, usa team should have stayed with their initial line-up. had there been no changes, there would have been no problems to begin with. at least with the last minute lineup change for usa, it’s good there wasn’t an eddie lee like incident as in that time of usa v japn 2000 (internal conflict). with the results in, and neither team winning or advancing significantly. the issue should be finished.

Oddly enough reminds me of when the desegregated sports and black players often found phantom fouls called against them. They just had to get up and do it over again. Try not to let it demoralize you (I know it’s hard) but let it focus you, let it make you want to push their shit in that much more.
