Sorry for OT but this seemed like as good a place as any to ask…anyone know of any arcades that still have DDR in the DMV area? Time Out was the stones but they closed, there’s one in Fredricksburg but that’s like 90 mins from where I live, machine in AMC Tyson’s Corner requires a ticket to get in, another arcade in Manassas closed recently, Laser Quest in Falls Church got rid of their machine. Yah I know DDR is dead but these machines have to go somewhere.
east points mall in dundalk had one a few years back, but I haven’t been there in a while so I don’t know about now
only place I knew (which was back in like 08 or 09) was out in glen burnie both at the movie theater and a arcade in the mall.
IIRC I think there’s one at columbia mall too. Not sure. Find the DDR facebook group from our area.

UMBC, once the home of the classic Wednesday night tournaments in UMBC gameroom(which eventually moved to the beloved Xanadus) now has a new, student run organization for all things fighting game related. Our group - the UMBC Fighting Game Tournament Organization (we know, sorry) - has tournaments every friday before Xanadus. We generally start around 1PM in the Public Policy building, and run UMVC3, Playstation All Stars, and Super Smash Bros. If you are interested in coming out, you can check our facebook page for more info. We are not big right now but we are growing - please come if you can!

Super Street Fighter II Turbo (CPS2 version) will be back at Xanadu this Friday. I’m also bringing Street Fighter EX2 Plus (arcade version with different backgrounds and music), and Angel eyes (PS version with bonus characters) by request. I’m OCD so no touching the games please.
