Thursday night bar fights at D&B! $5 Venue Fee $5 per Tournament SSF4 AE on PS3 - Evo Standard MVC3 on PS3 -Evo Standard Great local food drinks all in one place. Come out and test your skill. Right next to White Flint metro station and connected to White Flint mall. 1st 2nd 3rd 70/20/10 both games

Yes! October 20th!! Dave and Busters Tournament.

So the story is. Steve is petitioning at his Dave and Busters to get some fighting game cabinets. (AE 2012 being the forefront) but D&B really doesn’t see the profit in it. Steve was talking to me about showing them a documentary or something like “I GOT NEXT” or something. He then got the permission instead to host a tournament there to gauge interest. If we can really show this place that there are a good number of Fighting Game Players and that there is a general profitiable interest in fighting games there is a chance we can see an AE cab in MD.

Again this is all very early stage stuff, and I’m sure a lot of pessimist/elitist will think they’re too good for it, or there’s no point.

But even without showing D&B we want fighting games there, it’s at least a really cool place for a tournament. It’s really at a nice location (wheaton being not too far from most of MD) and ITS A BAR WITH FOOD AND DRINKS!! Having a bar at a tournament is always a plus. It’s also at the top floor of a mall so there’s other stores and a food court there with tons of other choices for food.

Dope venue, Dope area, Cheap food and drinks, other fun games, and only $5 venue.

one other thing if the food is a bit to expensive for you it is connected to white flint mall which has a food court and a stand alone jerry’s pizza so there are crazy amount of food options less than a minute way

and people without a car (which is like half of MD/VA apparently) can metro up. That’s probably the biggest thing seeing this right now.

I’m all for this… in theory… logistically, it’s probably gonna be a pain for me… but that’s fine.

AE cab is a horrible investment, btw. Tournament is still a good idea for the venue.

Also, we’re(VGBootCamp) going to try and bring a top class live stream since DB has good internet. This should also get DB more interested since it will be giving their store advertising. Also, I don’t think we’ll be competing with any other streams like we do with xanadu on Wednesdays which is another plus. Out of State, where you at?

Ultimate Marvel release tourney @ Strange Matter 11/19/2011.

Xbox only, using “Renegade” CRT monitor setups. 10$ for UMvC3 and AE. No other tourneys will be run to ensure a quality tourney experience for the two main events.

BTW, working with D&B is probably a bad idea. Having a horde of fighting gamers in there on a Saturday would probably seriously lose them money.
