You should play it Reggie. As an old-skool MM fan, it will appeal to you much more than X7. I think it’s as good as X4, though of the X series, the very first is still my favorite.
my god, I’ve been playing Naruto:GNT3 WAY too much lately. Other than that I’m refinishing Xenosaga 1 finally. Since I had lost my memory card a couple of months ago I’d been too lazy to finish it agian, but with XS2 coming so soon I gotta make sure it’s finished and ready.
I forgot that that’s coming out. I was 20 hours into Xenosaga Ep 1, when my memory card was lost by my nephew at some unknown time when I went military. A coincedence.
When does Ep 2 come out?
I should hurry up and restart that Xenosaga and rush through and absorb the story. So I can get at that Ep 2 when it comes out.
XSII is out in Feb. I believe near the end of the month, 23rd from what I can remember.
I’ve spent 5 hrs or so w/the xeno2 beta. Pretty good stuff so far! Eventhough its kinda pointless w/missing dialog and shit haha
My fav in the X series is the original on the SNES as well. That’s just classic stuff. My next gaming purchases were going to be Super Monkey Ball 2 and MGS: The Twin Snakes. I’m ona budget so for personal spending I don’t got over $40. MMX8 is $40. Man I want that game.
Technic Beat is a fun game. I haven’t played a whole lot of it. I’ve gone though the first section of the tutorial. Owned myself pretty hard. It will take me some time before I adjust to this sort of game but I’m digging the techno beats and there are even songs of one of my fav arcade style games: RIDGE RACER!! :wow:
The Punisher is too good. Everyone blowing up cut up shot up. Now only if the ESRB didn’t get to them and tone it down by making certain scenes black and white. Retarded I tell ya.
Still fun hahah
Saw dawn of the dead.
Hour and a half of close calls, survival, beating the odds and tons of sacrifice.

anyone know how to do that thing where it turns the font black and you can’t see it unless you click it?
the ending pissed me off they didn’t even show anything it wasn’t even interesting or suprising.
Alien Hominid is da freaking GAME!!! This one level has you riding on atop of a yeti and smashing Russian soliders. There’s this one kid who is called I kid you not, the “Fat Kid” who helps you out the whole game by giving you power ups. The only thing I dislike about AH is that you can’t shoot diagonaly. But since I love AH, so much, I can overlook even that. ALL OF SRK MUST BUY ALIEN HOMINID!!!
Yeah, concnering AH there was a thread dedicated to the game. Quite a few of us had issues w/the cheap deaths lol. Pretty frustrating at times.
Suikoden IV is still slow nearly 5hrs in =\
Shit, bad news concerning the XS saga:
This is horrible
xeno 2 was pretty good so far too =\
Damn, wtf.
So let me get this straight, it’s not going to get finished?
What would be the point of me playing this shit now.
Has anyone played that Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex PS2 game? Any good?
Also, what about Mercenaries?
Orange, GitS wasn’t that great. Just alot better than the shit they put out on ps1 w/the spidermech.
Mercenaries is good. Openended like GTA, tons of stuff to blow up. Ok, pretty much everything lol. Should keep you busy for quite awhile
Thanks, for the heads up.
So I might be picking up Mercenaries sometime.
Might not, there’s still a chance it can happen, we’ll just have to see.
Ah ok.
Is there a chance that SquareEnix, would pick up the license again? Xenogears was too good of a game.
But I DO hope they(Namco) stick with it and finish the story, whomever decides to pick it up. Cause I want to get up on that Xenosaga in the next couple of days.
I highly doubt it. All the people involved in XG and XS moved to Team Monolith and NAMCO
I really liked XG and XS but i’m not as hyped about XG 2 as I was with the first 2 games. Its sad to hear about the “take over” from monolith.
On another note, Phantom Kingdom is turning out to be really fucking cool, but I wonder if its even going to come out this year.
still on that next checkpoint on Halo 2 in Legendary Cairo Station…the room where you enter and there’s 2 grunts on the top level turrets, and Elites and Grunts on the ground level on the other side of the room.
There’s an interesting glitch apparently with that large box on the left side towards the center area of the room…sometimes Elites can get stuck there on the side of the box…it’s weird. I’ll take any advantage I can get on Legendary though. When that happens, you can usually just shoot the Elite to death and he can’t retaliate at all…he’s just stuck “jittering” around like he’s having a seizure by the box. I usually stick him with a plasma grenade and then follow up with Plasma Rifle shots. As rediculous as their health is…even that combination isn’t enough, and you still need a headshot (or 2?!) on him with the Battle Rifle after the shields are gone.
Also, they seem to get stupid when chasing with a sword. So far, it’s never gone for that killing lunge move…he’ll just run at me while I’m backpedaling, constantly hitting him in the face with shots from whatever gun. Do they ever go for the lunge? Unlike the previous room, I’m actually having fun in this one, and it doesn’t seem as hopeless…
Ninja Gaiden is next on the list—aren’t the NES games unlockable? Even if they weren’t I’d still get it, but I remember hearing something about that, and it sounds like an awesome side bonus to an already great current game.
THEN I got to get Fable, Mechassault 2, Midway Arcade Treasures(despite the half-ass emulations, I still want it), and the Otogi games, AND Destroy All Humans if it doesn’t get cancelled…it feels so good to finally have a system with a GREAT selection of quality games. I still love my GC, but in the system’s whole lifespan so far, it’s pretty sad that you can count the great, must-have games for it on 1 hand.
Random tidbit —Scott the Engineer from the Howard Stern show plays Halo 2 on LIVE. He didn’t mention his gamertag though.
edit—Halo 2 —The Scarab Gun sounds cool…but after reading about all the crap you have to do to get it, I decided not to waste my time. It just sounded like way too much work for a cool gun that will only last for that 1 level anyway. I assume the effect is like when Hunters shoot the green energy beam at you(which is also like the actual Scarab’s projectile, only small enough for a character to use)? I’d rather there just be some other thing to do to unlock the gun for normal single-player use…like beating the game on a certain difficulty(that’d be a bitch if the requirement is Legendary though)…or just a simple “Up, Up, Down Down,” type of code. Of course it would only be for single player though…it sounds a bit too powerful for multiplayer.
