I just beat Vanquish. Great game, but the bosses are ridiculously fucking hard IMO, to the point of screaming in frustration, especially the Argus robot on act 4, mission 2. I must have died at that mother fucker at least a dozen times because of that bullshit laser that tracks you as it’s dying.
It may be that I’m not playing the game “right”. You can’t play this like it’s Gears. You have to constantly keep moving from cover to cover.
I like the game’s style tho, and it’s a blast to play. Good stuff.

BTW, does anyone know how to manually trigger a.r. mode while standing still? I’ve seen people do it in video clips online, but I could never figure out how.

I keep forgetting to get Vanquish! There’s so many games out that I’m interested in, and so many that I already have that I haven’t finished playing… it’s tough to keep up with all the good stuff in the games industry these days. (*which is why I still laugh at and pity those with the opinion that this generation sucks.)

I played a bit more of Alan Wake yesterday, and I’m still loving the “tv series” style of presentation in a game. That in itself is a cool thing, imo— as with any drama/thriller series like a “24” or whatever…a new episode will start off with the recap and voice-over: “Previously, on Alan Wake…” This is also a good thing to make it easy to hop back into the storyline if you haven’t played it in awhile.

*I also have Little Big Planet 2, and will probably start on Sengoku Basara today.

*On top of that I have the Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity demo that currently dominates my game time. It’s strange that they’d release a demo that has this much content. I’m not sure how much of the story is accessible (couldn’t understand it anyway since this is a japanese demo), but there’s rares, free missions, all stores are accessible for your clothing and weapons/items, you can play as any of the characters and job classes, and the character level-cap is 100! Once again…this is all just a “demo”! I have a “Duman” Ranger type that’s level 12 already.

Haven’t really been playing much of anything lately aside from a bit Pac-Man CEDX here and there and trying to gather the will to finish Final Fantasy XIII (I managed to last 'til about halfway through chapter 12, might as well go all the way), but probably gonna start New Vegas and/or Dead Rising 2 later today.

First Ever Platinum Trophy!

Ninja Gaiden ?2

I beat Ultimate Ninja 2 yesterday in Team Mission Mode and cleared Ultimate Ninja 1 just a few minutes ago. I finally have 100% completion in Ninja Gaiden ?2 (as well as my first ever Platinum Trophy).

Now I can put Ninja Gaiden to rest as I have 100% completion in both Ninja Gaiden II and Ninja Gaiden ?2 — at least, until Ninja Gaiden III releases :lovin:

Good looks. I’ve run through NGII three times. Can’t wait for III.

Dawn of War 2…prepping for the latest expansion: Retribution.
Sengoku Basara: SH…got all the fugitives and made Fuuma a tank.

i totally wanna play sengoku basara i love just about everything capcom makes.

i just got bought ghost trick eeeppp can’t wait to play it

God of War Collection

Yugioh 5D on XBL is taking over my fucking life…

I’m trying to create a GOOD burn deck to destroy the CPU and get all of the cards available…

The CPU is a bitch but if there is one thing it can’t defend itself against, its this deck type right here…

You’ll either win extremely quickly or lose extremely quickly…

And to think I knew jack shit about this game until two weeks ago…shrugs

EDIT: Sadly to have a good deck, I need duplicates and not getting many of those yet:sad:…

There are a thousand random cards I could end up getting…

SCII
BFBC2
RDR
AH3
FO:NV and ME2 are on my backburner.

Picked up Nier and the Onimusha PS2 collection.

Kirby’s Adventure: My second fav Kirby game. (Super Star reigns supreme) I’m at World 4 right now but it’s been ages since I’ve played the NES version of this game. Well, I’m playing it on VC, but still.

Just finished beating Spyro: Year of the dragon completely. Good game pretty fun.

My new objective is Mega Jump for iphone… Im bored and i need something to easy the pain of waiting for mvc3

just beat silent hill 3

i wanna start mario rpg never played much of it

Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, its pretty good, not as good as the first so far but the music is much better.

Super Meat Boy

Super Mario Galaxy

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Eets: Chowdown - I downloaded this game a long time ago and only finished like the first world. I don’t know why I stopped playing it, its colorful and the puzzles are fun.

Hopefully this weekend me and The Wife can get a chance to sit down and play New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Ive been wanting to play it (and so has she) but its hard for both of us to sit down and play a game at the same time. I told her I wouldn’t play it without her so I’m just waiting. We played it a for a little while a few months back and we really liked it though.

Persona 3 Portable -> Starting to hate the cheap-ass Tartarus bosses. I’m fighting one right now that deals 200-300 dmg vs. my whole party (avg party Hp = 270). No weakness, can’t be hit by physical attacks and magic only does <40…

Disgaea 2 DHD -> Still on Chapter 2; Trying to finish some other games off before I continue this. Some free DLC characters too, so I can still train the gdlk Plenair yet again.

Star Ocean 4 -> Lost one Eldarian, picked up another. Aeos second visit. This game’s penchant for huuuge environments with nothing in them is starting to annoy me. I wonder how much time would be cut out if the landscapes were just a bit smaller.

Over a decade later I finally finished Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon.
It feels nice to beat games that you had fun but never got to finish.

It’s was cool, too. I got to add some more mp3s to my player of songs I haven’t heard before.

Monday Night Combat.

Best class based shooter on XBLA, forreal.

Dead Space2 one of the best Games I’ve ever played, the only 3d games I like better are: Mass Effect 1-2, God of War 2-3, and Ocarina.
