Still playing GT5, just hit 95% completion.

Regarding Mother 3, I’m at the chapter where I play as Lucas (I named him King), and I hooked up with the princess at that club. I’m stuck at the boss fight with the instruments in the attic. I can figure out the beat times based on the music playing, but I don’t have the button presses down. I don’t think that’s the problem with the boss fight, though.

As for Golden Sun, you’re correct. You constantly get new gear to the point where you don’t really need to buy anything from the shops, and that’s good, but the problem is that the difficulty doesn’t appear to keep up with the player constantly powering up (hence, SotN Syndrome). That’s where the complaints about the game being too easy come from, but it was never explained.

EDIT: Currently playing 999 for the DS. Excellent adventure game, probably the best adventure game of the year. Finished the game once, so now I’m going for another path.

I seem to be playing Trine in roughly three-hour stints every couple of days. This game is actually starting to get nice and hard. It just takes a while to amp shit up. Also, the character balance isn’t great; the thief pretty much rapes the entire game by herself with only occasional need for the wizard and almost none for the knight.

currently playing

black ops
ssfiv

thats it for now. i plan on going to gamestop tomorrow.

Got Castlevania: Lord of Shadow for Christmas, so I’ll be playing that. Still on my second playthrough of 999.

Played through and finished Splatterhouse, Dead Nation, Vanquish, and Enslaved on the hardest available difficulties.

If anyone wants any opinions on any of the games I’ve listed so far I’d be more than happy to give a quick review/recap on them.

Currently working on Brutal Legend (a little more than 50% finished on brutal difficulty). Afterwards I’ll move onto some other games in my backlog, probably start-up SW: TFU USE, Darksiders, Kirby’s Epic Yarn, or SMG2.

Bought myself a PS3 today along with ssfiv, bb:cs, uncharted, and uncharted 2. I hadn’t really heard about Uncharted before this week, but it looks like an amazing pick up now! Gorgeous graphics, great gameplay after the first 2 hours.

Mystical Ninja 64 and a memory pak are 2 things I’ve never really brought together,

but now, it’s finally time to play and finish that game.

just got done playing deadly premonition i heard a lot of bad things about it but personally i liked it

Playing Resident Evil 5. It’s lacking in atmosphere and creepiness compared to RE4. I don’t like how the series is becoming more of an action game than survival horror. I’m not liking the co-op either.

  • Bought Reach yesterday on sale, but I’d rather be playing The Last Remnant(up to Rush and Emma getting some alone time… IN A CAVE!) and the Mass Effect 2 DLCs that I got yesterday, too. Where to start?

well i just beat earthbound zero thanks again to bulldancer started reading online trying to figure out the time paradox and came across fetus theory and what not

what i wanna know though is why ness’s face shows up on the devil machine thing

Porky

Spoiler

(Theoretical Nonsense)- I think Ness’ face is on the Devil’s Machine because although Porky is pure evil, he actually treasured Ness as a friend and a rival. That’s why in Mother 3 there is a movie theater of Ness’ adventures in Earthbound. Kinda sad right?

EDIT: Bayonetta and LP1 are pretty damn fun… well I’m definitely not going to have a hard time giving up DMC after Ninja Theory fucks it up…

yeah i was just reading that also read about the yo yo in his collection called “friends yo yo”

makes sense

Playing that SRWJ translation. Gai is a fucking idiot and I remember how much I hated him in Nadiesco.

still playing KH:BBS. I just got thru one of the stories.

this game is pretty fuckin’ tits. I’ll have to put off ZHP for a little while, til I’m done with KH. same with the GoW games. damn I got too many games to play and not enough time smh

  • …just beat Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker and Stolen Memories… wow…was it just me, or was Shadow Broker the tribute to the Mass Effect fans who stuck it out for Shepard and the Normandy crew from Saren to the Collectors? That was the best $2 I ever spent on gaming and the series in general. Stolen Memories wasn’t as memorable because Liara and Shepard have a history that Bioware played with in the combat banter. For instance:

  • Liara: they should just attack us all at once.

  • Shepard: Don’t give the mercs any ideas.

I swear I’m probably paraphrasing, but it’s just amazing how they pulled that off there. This is probably the first episode that I’ve ever downloaded and played…next to Kasumi’s, that is. But that one fails to compare to the time put into this mission. I’m glad that I played it.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. This shit is for real bosses. I’m happy to play again after 5 years

One of the best RPG’s I’ve ever played. Not just in recent years, but in general.
It’s amazing.

Liara: It shouldn’t be much longer!
Shepard: Remember when you could just slap omni-gel on everything?

I laughed so fucking hard.

Onward to what I’m currently playing.

Dragon Age: Origins I’d managed to have a few hours alone with it here and there, but owning the game myself and tooling around with it beyond Lothering or so…yeah. This is one of the best games I’ve ever played and I am fucking floored. Also, I think I’m in love with Sten.

Trine This game had a slow and easy start but it took a turn for the amazing. The later levels are fucking hard and the sheer number of ways to solve the puzzles is fucking incredible. This is a very well-made game. Don’t miss it!

Monday Night Combat So much fucking fun, ugh. Six maps, six classes, pure third-person shooter Defense of the Ancients goodness. I will get a lot of mileage out of this game. I’m really into it.
