Alright, Super Mario Sunshine is on the way here… played it a little, great game… might want to get Twilight Princess for gamecube so I can play that many years from now(like I occasionally take out the N64 and play some Mario Party 1-3, 64, and Yoshi Story) …
Batteries won’t be around forever imo and neither will that damn nintendo wii(so glad I bought the purple lunchbox), I’ll either attempt to mod it and if I fuck up oh well:mad:
@ Davidstar, expect slowdown when you get to 99th street on JSRF…
It’s not that bad if you can just get down into the city, the slowdown you experience coming in isn’t a good indicator of the entire level… and at least half of that area runs at full speed. The rest of the game runs full speed, expect some slowdown when large numbers of people are involved when it comes to the cities(not often @ all)…
Haven’t played Sega GT yet… will get to that part of the disc…
From what I think, Sega GT has reduced framerate but its constant so there probably is no slowdown, textures will probably look less smooth…
EDIT: And it turns out Sega GT is amazingly fun… who knew?

Could not get into Lost Planet 2. Something felt odd about the controls and not that I have anything against learning by trial and error, but the train level is incredibly dumb.
Playing Mass Effect 2 now. I regret not getting it at release and not playing the first one. Somewhere along in the game I ran into a bug and thus had to reload to a previous save. I decided to change my answers to see how it would change the story and it was very different than what I experienced before. So far I’m very impressed and having lots of fun. Made Shepard into an infiltrator and using Garrus and Miranda as my squad members.
@million
Well I was referring to what i think was episode 3 or chapter 3 where you’re on a train and have to use this cannon. There were so many dam things that you had to tap b for or whatever. I still have no idea what the purpose of the crane was.
When I first started playing I actually enjoyed the training mode lol. Then you had to pilot the mechs and it went downhill from their…

See, that’s the odd/funny thing…Lost Planet 2’s training levels are like 10x more difficult than anything I remember from the regular game. It’s funny because I’ve never seen this situation in any other game. I doubt there are a lot of people out there who have managed to beat those ridiculous training stages. I managed to beat 3 or 4 of them and eventually gave up on the others.
*haha, so I got Sonic Unleashed for my friend’s son for Christmas…of course since it’s not Christmas just yet I’ve been playing it already as if I bought it for myself. So far, it’s making a very good first impression on me. This game seems quite stingy with the achievements though…there’s really no early “give-aways” like you see in other games. (*I think The Simpsons Game even gave you an achievement just for pressing start for the first time to start the game.) Anyway, this also has the most badass intro cinema scene I’ve ever seen from a Sonic game: <–of course that does not really do it justice; you have to see it in true HD. The graphics are surprisingly good.
Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage…breaking bodies.

I hope it’s better than the demo because it played like slow motion crap. The combat made god of war’s combat seem deep.
So… Is anyone else hype for the new Ace Combat coming out for BOTH the 360 and PS3? The new system for the game looks realistic as well as still having that arcade-feel to the game. Let’s just hope that the helios don’t ruin the game.
Other than that, they better have my iDOLM@STER planes there or there will be Hell to be paid, HELL!

Trine: This game is really fun and quite charming, but it gets boring after a couple of hours because it’s just too easy. Maybe I should kick up the difficulty and see if shit improves. Otherwise, no complaints. The gameplay is fantastic, just too easy.
Resident Evil 5: The controls are so much better for me on the PC. I might have to kick the difficulty up here too, though, since I can consistently headshot and kneecap people from across entire levels.
World of Warcraft: Leveling a draenei paladin right now, currently at level twenty-three in Duskwood and killing mobs in groups of four or more. Too much fun.
Mass Effect: …yup.
Earthbound. Im gonna beat that game! For some reason I always seem to stop before I get to Fourside.
No More Heroes 2. Just as good as the original, but for some reason I find myself preferring the first one. I think I am one of the few people that misses the overworld. The music is top notch, and the combat feels less clunky. Dark Step has been nerfed like crazy though. Not as…slapped together, as the first one.
Just picked up ZHP Unlosing Ranger vs Darkdeath Evilman, so fucking fun.
Shoutouts to AC: Brotherhood. That multiplayer is very well built.
Shoutouts to the whole Mario & Luigi saga.
Shoutouts to Chrono Trigger.

Yeah…I always stop at the Desert, where you have to beat the Mole Brothers. I’m pretty sure I have my old file around, I should check it out one of these days…

Currently stuck in Mother 3. Game gets hard pretty fast.
Recently played and finished Vanquish. Hard to believe this game didn’t sell well when it’s part of a popular genre, and the ending hints at a sequel (I wonder if that will happen though). Rocket sliding is too fun.
Haven’t played PSO recently because the server is down. Sucks too, because the Xmas event was supposed to happen.
Still playing through Golden Sun Dark Dawn. I like how the treasure chests always give you something good, but the difficulty hasn’t ramped up much. All that cool gear you get makes battles a breeze. Golden Sun appears to suffer from SotN Syndrome.
Currently playing Chrono Trigger on the DS. I have it for the Ps1 but the game is fun to play. I just got to 12,000BC.
Also playing Samurai Shodown for the PS3. Online play is decent. I’m hoping that more and better titles will be added in the future.

Just finished X-MEN arcade in 25 minutes. AWESOME!!! Well worth the nostalgia!
idk if i like the new look of the game… ill still get it and play they hell out of it but the fact that they are moving away from parallel worlds and using real world as the base scares me, since that was one of the cool aspects of the game… also dont really think this game needed a “reboot” as they say. it just needed to be back on the PS with better marketing…
Currently playing Resonance of Fate, Gran Turismo 5, Call of Duty Black ops (lagtastic), and Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam (which is SOOOO replacing CoD:BO)…
so does anyone else get rediculously frustrated with CoD when you aim at someone and go through an entire clip… yet you still die and in kill cam it shows you shooting like 2 shots or in a totally random direction? this little bit it really making me want to sell CoD… and i dont usually sell my games unless they have REALLY pissed me off…
What part of the game are you at atm… chapter 4?
And SotN syndrome is hard at the beginning due to lack of items but progressively too easy?
I’m cool with a platformer doing that but an RPG? Makes me have second thoughts about getting it.
EDIT: Gotta get good at beat combos man, if you are unable to use hypnosis to get a enemy heartbeat, try to think about how the song would sound on a metronome and tap it out like that…
Some of them are very tricky and some have glitched sounding pauses to throw your ass off(intentionally)…
One last thing: If you are where I think you are(at the end of the railway), do not fight anything in the forest except for moles… just work at the factory and go on with your life

Suddenly my SNES/GBA emulation urge is coming
