Just started playing Mother 3 after it was mentioned. Always wanted to play it (I’m a fan of Earthbound). Holy crap, shit gets sad/tense quickly, and this is coming from a game that has all sorts of wacky in it.

Dead Nation, folks. GET THAT SHIT. A friend and I got to mission 5 or 6 today. The amount of zombies this game throws at you is completely insane, and we’re just playing the “normal” difficulty setting so far.

So far I’m sticking with the SMG, shotgun both being fully upgraded… I haven’t even played around with the “big-time” weapons that much yet but the blade-launcher already seems like serious business before you even start upgrading that sumbitch.

Halfway through Bioshock 2. Loving it as it gives me more great Rapture goodness but they took the part I hated most about bioshock 1 and made it a big part of 2. No, I don’t want to protect helpless characters. That’s a dumbass way to add difficulty/frustration to a game. It reminds me of Goldeneye and it’s getting stupid now.

Finished Jet Set Radio Future and refinished Shemue II(I forgot how good this fucking game really was 10/10)…

Started replaying Majora’s Mask(not looking forward to final dungeon because it is a huge mind fuck)… damn this game is scary…

And its not because of anything that you fight, but it does that apocalypse thing so well… it shows how life can be lost in an instant and how ultimately worthless life turns about to be:sad:…

People are trying to live out their last moments although their last moments will mean nothing after their inevitable death…

Good stuff, although it wins the award for most annoying dungeons and only Zelda with a time limit mechanic… I hate being rushed… the side quest are what made the game good and nothing else imo…

I feel ya. I hated collecting all the great fairy fairies especially in the water temple and the one after that, the one that you had to turn upside down and stuff. also some of the masks are a pain to get, like the one where you have to fight aliens then the two brothers. i haven’t been able to pass the alien one recently because my analog stick on my N64 controller crapped out on me.

I’ve been playing FF13 recently and I think it’s alright. The soundtrack’s definitely better overall and I like the battle system better than 12, although that’s not saying alot. it reminds me of a combination FF10-2 and FF12 where you only control one character’s action and the rest is like the gambit system (which i hated). One other thing i don’t like is that it’s way too linear and it’s like almost impossible to explore anywhere like previous final fantasy titles.

I loved this game. Almost filled out the Bomber’s Notebook too. I really like games that allow you to do mini-storylines (ie:Kafi’s(sp?) marriage and the retrieval of the Sun Mask). I’ve said this before, but DQ7 implemented this perfectly.

P3P - Messed up a lot of SLinks so Playthrough 2 is gonna be fun… Currently on 9/2.

ME2- Recruiting the Krogan Warlord. Ugh. I don’t think I’ve walked for a solid 10 seconds without being shot.

Also loving Veteran difficulty, especially how the enemies know where you are when you’re cloaked and behind cover.

As soon as the invisibility finishes, they immediately shoot at your location. How the hell did they know I entered the room if I’m cloaked? And how did they accurately aim for me if they didn’t know where I was?

I was just think about Majora’s Mask. I’ll probably download it on Virtual Console sometime. And it’s been YEARS since I played Ocarina of Time so that’s another N64 game to download.

Started New Super Mario Bros. Wii last night and I’m already up to World 4. This is a fun Mario platformer but as of now, I can’t put it above the first NSMB, which is one of my fav Mario games ever. I’m a bit surprised at home many times I’ve died already. The challenge seems a bit more amped up early on. Course that’s probably because I haven’t really learned this game as I have other Mario titles.

Since I also picked up Super Mario Galaxy 2, I guess I could play it and NSMBW side by side. Oh and maybe some Super Mario All-Stars to go with it.

I remember hearing JSR is being ported to XBLA and possibly PSN, and if you have a 360, you can always track down JSRF (since its backwards-compatible) for less than $5.

Got the JSRF/Sega GT bundle for $4 last year myself.

Bioshock 2 is done. Nothing compared to Bioshock 1 in terms of story and level design. Nothing really stood out the way places like Fort Frolic or Arcadia did. It was fun but my expectations were higher.

i just beat “and yet it moves”, it was ok. moved on to prinny and this game is hilarious…and good. i got it for 10$ from psn. you can actually get it that much from the psp store as well.
