I’ve been playing tons of disgaea 3. Went from level 85 to 2500 and doing the post game sidequests.
Replaying Xenosaga out of boredom, probably not gonna finish it, sooo…
I need some advice. What do you guys think is more deserving of my cash, Dead Space or Shadow Complex? I’ve been looking at both of those as of recent and they both seem very good, but I can only pick one.
So, any thoughts?
Shadow Complex. It’s one of the best games I’ve played on the 360, and the best game on XBLA. Super Metroid made today and set in the real world is pretty much what it is.
They’re both amazing, but Shadow Complex has so much replay value it’s insane. I played through it three times in a row, two 100% playthroughs and one 13%, and I’m still going to go through it again. Dead Space is incredible, but the first time is likely the only time.
I recommend both very highly, but between the two I would choose Shadow Complex.

I’ma snag Shadow Complex sometime next week. Gotta try that one.
Currently playing;
Dissidia, The Force Unleashed, and RotF (PS3).
Deathsmiles - So close to a 1CC with Rosa, yet so far away. Goddamn you, TyrannoSatan :annoy:
Still playing KOF XII online, even with the eh netcode. Hopefully the forthcoming patch smoothes things out.
I’ll be getting in Idolm@ster Live For You and Mamoru-Kun next week for my JP360 and Raiden IV for my US one.
Just got Blazblue, still playing a lot of HDR, and some Battlefield 1943.
I need to finish Persona 3: FES and get started on Valkyria Chronicles. For some reason, I can’t get into either recently.

I just beat [Prototype], and I enjoyed it, although it’s a bit too long if you decide to do all the side missions. The Elizabeth Green boss fight also pissed me off, but otherwise the game is fun. It’s very cool how you can approach a mission with a stealth approach, or go in guns blazing. I also like how you can choose to melee, use your powers, use human weapons, or hijack human vehicles. It gives you so many options during combat, and keeps things fresh.
Unfortunately, I’m gonna have to trade it in since I’m so broke to buy Dirt2, which I want badly.
Tomorrow, I start playing Batman, finally.
I’ve been replaying Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - this time earning the new PSN trophies along the way.
I’m at the end of Batman: Arkham Asylum and getting my butt handed to me.
So I finally got Dead Space. And I gotta wonder, what took me so damn long?! This game is amazing, everything about it is great. I’m currently at chapter 6. One thing though, I’m just not sure what’s worth upgrading/buying. I don’t want to spend my resources on things that won’t pay off in the long run. Right now, I have the Line Gun and Pulse Rifle along with the Plasma Cutter. Haven’t done much upgrading aside from increasing my health and air, and improving my Plasma Cutter’s and Pulse Rifle’s capacity and power.
Anyways, I feel like I made the right decision buying this over Shadow Complex so far, since Shadow Complex would have to be pretty damn good to be better than this.
Oh, and man, Dead Space is ridiculously immersive, especially for me since the game is calling me by name.

Started up an Assassin’s Creed game this weekend, so much fun at first but after a few hours in I felt it was a chore to go do all the shitty tasks. Sword fights and running on rooftops is god tier though. I’ve got my hope up for number 2 though, it looks pretty cool.
Bought Tropico off steam as well and I’m having great fun with it. I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of being called El Presidente.

It took me the entire day, but I got the necessary illegal tickets, beat the x-dimension maps, and made into the land of carnage. (Disgaea 3)
Got a craving to play something other than blazblue today, not buying any new ps3 games till demon souls, so I bought wild arms 2 off psn. I absolutely loved 3 and this onces looking decent. The graphics don’t bug me as much as I thought they would.
I’ve been playing DMC4 like its new. Didn’t play the game for months after I beat it many moons ago. I didn’t like Nero on my first run, but after you learn how to use that exceed gauge, and realize that the Buster is your best friend, he becomes a beast.
