Playing ninja gaiden 2. Game seems easier this time. And by easier I mean, its a game for sadomasochists instead NG which was a game for just masochists.
De-limbing effects are cool, graphics are pretty nice. My biggest problem is what I call “the last gen” effect. Where things get a slight graphical enhancement, but the core game is practically the same. I can’t help but think of how awesome a game like this could be with a little more freedom. I’d also love some destructible environments. I mean, I can cut through giant demons like butter, but my sword is powerless against a chain link fence. I have super human agility, but I cannot traverse waist high rubble.
Going to go buy some points today for SHADOW COMPLEX tomorrow, I am going to be all over that.

Playing MvC2. I might not bother with scoreboard matches if it means putting up with the same boring Storm/Mag/Sentinel/Cable/etc. matches. Any idea if the top player in the scoreboard is legit, or is he a typical scrub who exploited his way to the top?
I’m focusing on making the game that I wanted to make for the longest time, so I might not be playing too many games for a while other than MvC2.
Donkey Kong '94. Just made it to World 7, Iceberg. IMO this is one of the best Mario games out there.
ZOMG loved that damn game. When I got as a kid, I thought it was just gonna be an update on DK arcade game, but when I beat those first four stages and learn that theres an entire game based on this badass Mario puzzle platformer, I was like “OH SHI–”.
Make sure you get Mario vs Donkey Kong as well. Its the sequel in everything but name.

Just hit 30 hrs on ninja gaiden sigma
I’m planning on picking that up along with March of the Minis.
Well I made it through World 7 and World 8. The later worlds on this game REALLY piss me off. Some parts require precise timing with no room for screw ups. Still, DK '94 really is a great game.

Playing the Siren remake on the PS3… now that Resident Evil has become an action game and Silent Hill has… Well, lets not talk about Silent Hill Homecoming…
This is by far the best Survival Horror game out there right now… until the day comes when they remake the Clock Tower game for SNES… >.>

Tried the multiplayer, Lost planet 2 demo last night. It was quite fun the big bosses are epic. The controls were a bit funny though.
Just got through the Shadow Complex demo, and it’s a pretty solid game. Definitely has the Super Metroid vibe going for it. Might end up picking it up this weekend.

I decided to give Disgaea 3 a second chance and I’m really glad I did. I just made it to Ch 3 and I’m having a blast so far. Plus, now I can earn trophies.
LP2 demo is fun to play online.

ff7 for the first time ever in my life. it’s pretty fucking good. i think i played the series in the wrong order though [crisis core > advent children > ff7] but it’s all good.
^Your cool, Advent Children doesn’t need to exist and Crisis Core is prior to FF7 so no problems :tup:
anyway I’m gonna prepare for a 2nd Persona 4 run :china:

got Mirrors Edge from gamefly today, beat 3 chapters and Im done!!
this game does nothing more than increase my disdain for 3D games. I get the controls but it’s the camera that ruins everything for you!
it also makes me wanna throw up lol. Ima return it and get Dead Space, which’ll prolly give me yet more reasons to hate 3D games.
started playing bioshock for ps3. Game is really good, i just wish the audio was a bit louder. I find it hard to hear sometimes, and this is with the speech at 100, and everything else at 70, But other than that the game is alot of fun.
Also to Celcius: don’t you want to play with the joker, get the PS3 version.
