no, it was a port of the game “Be Your True Mind” which was a spinoff of the megaten line. Supposedly DDS isnt even a true SMT game either, they just stuck the SMT on for the American audience to tie it in with Nocturne.
jesus its a little confusing sometimes. I dont like the time delay in the combat mode. I would prefer to have full real time battles or turn based. not this inbetween shit.
other thanthat, I enjoy the game very much. I like the non linear style of play as far as choosing my fate. I am deciding to go for the dark side of course. So i have been capping people and turning a blind eye to injustice all over the place LOL.
i am about to head into the sewers of Tarsis. and I just finished killing off a bunch of rakghouls.
im still really trying to figure out the level up system and the best way to spend my limited points. also I wish they were a little less complicated when it comes to giving the stats for armor and weapons. evidently i have to do low level calculus to figure out which gun is better than another one LOL.
but overall I am enjoying myself. and Im sure I will understand the game better as I play more. But i also will be playing the game twice so I can play once in the dark and once in the light.
There is one thing you can do. You can pause the game in the middle of battle. You do that by clicking on the white button. Once you do that press x to choose what moves you want your characters to do. You can Switch to the others and do the same with the black button while it is still paused and choose their moves as well. It saves you time and your life in the later rounds.
As for the leveling up, the characters you dont play as just choose the default. If you can try to get your wisdom up to basically get anything you want since your are joining the Darkside. Also you can Pause immediately in battle then go into your inventory and select a medpac, advanced medpac, or lifesupport pack, and press A to use it. you will get health and not waste a combat turn.
I think there is a serious boss in the sewers of taris. As using characters I suggest Canderous and HK-47 and use Canderous for melee after you get “all of the star maps” (spoiler). I say use these guys since you are on the dark side. It’ll be easier to make decisions on the dark side without hearing the Jedi whine. I wont ruin it for u but if you happen to have an all Jedi team towards the end, and they realize you’re on the darkside (you’ll betray them) watch out. Also try to have all the Jedi maxed out in healing early.
You could slowly blaster him to death, or put a Grenade in his food Hunter.
Got my hands on Tales of Symphonia and Phantom Dust. Phantom Dust is trip sometimes, especially on Live. It’s almost impossible to keep up with alot of players. Maybe once you complete the game it gets easier.
Tales of Symphonia is just crack in RPG form. Call the detox ward for me when you get the time somebody.
I was looking for Mr. Driller 2 on the GBA but no store I went to seemed to have it. So I picked up a few games unexpectidly. I got Mega Man X8 for $20 new at GameStop. Got Space Channel 5: Special Edition for $4.99 new at EB Games and I found Actraiser 2 for $5.99. Don’t know when I’ll play X8 but I hear it made up for the suckfest that was X7.
Well a half hour ago, my Super Famicom’s trek from Japan to my house has concluded. But my dad pretty much killed the excitement and exhilarion I expected to digest once I got it.
The mailman sent the package to my house and the result: A confrontation with my dad with false allegations I spend money on video games way too much and I don’t understand the difference between wants and needs. Well, I sold my Gamecube to get the fucking thing thank you very much!
Sometime last week, right after I paid for my machine, I took that 5 minute drive down to the post office, with the shirt I slept in the night before and flip flops, and told the people to mail me a slip that my package arrived and I would pick it up so I could avoid disasters like what i previously mentioned. But they HAAAAAD to blow my cover by bringing it to my house for my dad to see.
I’ve been playing Phantom Brave for a while now. I’ve logged about 90hrs in the span of about 2-3 months. Playing through failure dungeouns is starting to make me fall asleep though. I might try for the Divine Sword if I can ever get to create bottlemails.
Yeah there is always that first time when that happens against a lame boss. Was it some slug/dragon boss type of monster that takes your Mp every time you touch it?
