Their budget surplus is sharply declining. It went from 18.5 billion to 6 billion in 3 years. What do they think is going to happen the next few years when a couple million more refugees are added at 30k each? I bet they don’t have a surplus in 5 years, and they certainly won’t have one in 10.

becasue they are the worst ones when it comes to it, actually went as far as reduce overall welfare, and have increased taxes to compensate for the influx of what’s going to be a permanent problem minority due to the fact that they won’t integrate, or be permanently jaded because they didn’t integrate fast enough due the requirement needed to thrive in modernized service sector economy, which has little to no use for unskilled uneducated labor. A demographic whose only purpose will be to lower wages for what little low tier service sector jobs exist.

Just like my people did that to what little farm jobs or other low to mid skilled blue collar work in the 90’s. IN the US, picking fruit wasn’t a job that didn’t pay well after chavez, but after regan amnesty it quickly did.

and that’s really the largest single issue because there is no net positive from this, and any net positive will take roughly 50+ years and there is no guarantee that it will even be worth the money. At least in the case of Germany and the , the money they lost bailing out low tier countries like Greece and iirc Spain is that they can continue their dominance over Europe and ensure their economy keeps going even if the rest of Europe suffers. Even their continuously negative solar subsidies which haven’t netted them any money and actually spend money to get other countries to take the energy while buying energy in peak hours from less developed European nations has some scientific benift. The immigration thing is not going to make Europe or the host nations stronger, nor is it going to import severely needed labor. And even if it did, you’d have a situation like there exists in Australia where rampant visa abuse exists and is used to displace Australians in favor of cheaper foreigners.

Sweden is in some areas the best it’s been for years. Growth rate, lowest unemployment rate since 20 years etc.
I don’t disagree on your facts, I’m just slightly annoyed by people seeing a shrinking number and yelling MUSLIMS right away, especially if it’s a number like the budget surplus - which itself isn’t even a good thing. Refugees cost a lot, sure. More than expected/calculated. But just looking at a random number and blaming them? Hell nah. I’d be way happier with less of them over here tbh. I’m not happy with the situation, not at all.

Oh and just btw, Germany’s goal is to have a fairly even budget, so that post makes even less sense in the first place.
I don’t have to explain why a consistent budget surplus isn’t even good, do I?

Spending rate? 2016-2020 ~19b per year for refugee crisis related stuff in general, roughly 75b until 2020.
And the numbers - at least over here - don’t look too grim compared to the expectations some people had…

Pensacola man arrested on bestiality charges

In the best state of the best country.

A 23-year-old Pensacola man was arrested on claims of sexual contact with an animal that allegedly continued for years before it was reported.

Bradley Jean Hubbard was arrested Monday at his Pelham Drive address after a family member reported the ongoing sexual assault of the family pet, a pit bull or bull dog mix named “Baby Girl.”

Hubbard lived with his father and his father’s girlfriend during the period of the offenses, which allegedly had continued for more than three years.

A family member who lived in the home reported the incident, saying she had physically seen Hubbard take the animal to his bedroom and engage in sexual contact with the dog, estimating it to have happened more than 100 times in the past several years. She had been able to witness the attack as Hubbard’s bedroom door has a hole in it, as a result of a violent outburst.

Longbenton man in court charged with having 9,000 indecent images of children

A man was in the dock accused of possessing 9,000 indecent images of children.

David Carey appeared for a brief hearing at North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court where he faced nine charges.

The 33-year-old is accused of possessing thousands of indecent images of children, some of which were allegedly of an ‘extreme’ kind.

Carey, of Langdale Close, Longbenton , spoke only to confirm his name and tell the court his date of birth and address.

He withheld his plea to one count of distributing an indecent image of a child, three of making an indecent image/pseudo-photograph of a child, three of possessing an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child, one of possessing an extreme pornographic image, which involved sexual activity with an animal, and one of possessing a prohibited image of a child.

Laura Lax, prosecuting, said the alleged offences took place between November 1 2012 and February 25 2016 at his home in Longbenton.

She said the charges related to photos and movies of category A, the most serious, to category C, the least serious, and were allegedly found on a phone, memory stick and lap top.

Ms Lax said: “These charges are not suitable to be dealt with at this court .

“There’s a number of charges. It’s allegedly about 9,000 images and some are extreme.

“There’s also a charge of distribution of a small amount of category A images.

“It’s clearly beyond any potential sentencing powers of this court.”

Magistrates declined jurisdiction and the case was sent to Newcastle Crown Court, where Carey will next appear on February 1.

He was granted conditional bail until that date.
