I can’t understand how a company like that has the power it does, aside from doing government dirty work for well over half a century. They’re now officially above the law (or creating new laws that benefit them such as the Monsanto Protection Act).

They also recently found that one of their GMO strains of wheat that was supposedly destroyed years ago, is growing in the wild. Japan has stopped all wheat imports from the US now.

The protest includes everything: Leftists, rights, nationalists, secular, religious, communists, Kurds, Alevis, youngs, old people, everyone is involved.
The damn media is embarassing and they try not to show much of it, because they are afraid of Erdogan and his army, however, let me tell you all a secret: While Erdogan tries to create the illusion of having a followership of 50% percent of the Turkish society, he denies the fact that most of the voters of the AKP are actually the ones, who are protesting against him.
Also his statements through the media are ridicilous idiotic and will hurt him even more.
Another aspect is that he is actually very weak and these protests are hurting him a lot. Problematic for him is his attitude, he is prone to provocations and does like to show himself as a strong being living. In my opinion, Erdogan´s dictatorship is coming to an end, a lot of cruel revelations will happen then.
Lol, even Twitter was unable to reach in Turkey.
