Just wanted to say to all the danbury cats (prolly a lil too early to be doing so) that I’m going to miss hanging with u guys. Sorry I’m not going to be able to do so, have a lot to do. Flying out to cali next wednesday. Giving my shout outs and love to Jaime, John, Jerry, Adam, Rolando, Ramaud, Tyler. Keep doing your thing u guys and hopefully we’ll meet up sometime in the big west. I’ll still lurk about on these forums to see how u guys are doing. :karate: Peace out homies.

is danbury dead yet?
Pretty much in terms of Marvel and CvS2. People are only playing Tekken 5 now in danbury. These marvel withdrawls are killing me, if anyone wants to console I’ll be down in a hot minute. Hopefully they will change the prices back soon. ECC might breathe some life back into CT as well. Danbury was the last man standing in CT, it’s not dead but in a coma.

Someday children will come home after learning about the golden age of Danbury arcades that day at school. They will ask there parents what it was like to live through this very special time. Their parents will then sit down and much to their children’s delight they will begin to tell tales that validate what their teachers and text books had described. Stories of competition, 100 degree temperatures, broken sticks, ocv’s, waiting to play cvs2 in line 12 people/6 hrs deep, opening the marvel cabinet, Tyler the machine, blood, sweat and tears. The children will then ask what brought down this seemingly unpenetrable empire of dreams. The parents will then turn to their child and say “man’s greed son, man’s greed”.

I haven’t been to the mall since I was 16 or so. (Read: About 10 years) Moved all across the country and now find myself pretty close again. What’s there, anything? Or should I just save my $ for train rides to CF?
what games do you play and where are you located-
there’s Marvel vs Capcom 2, okay cab (some people whine about buttons being too spaced out but i think its straight) but its 75 cents/game
Capcom vs SNK 2, cab is okay but it shakes a little bit, but its also 75 cents/game
and then there’s Tekken 5 (of course not on a real T5 cab with hori sticks and controller ports, but on a cab like the other games with a 360 and the buttons are in a square form i think and no controller ports). good side is that its 50 cents (on continue) and that the matches are best of 7 (first to win 4)

alright wheres the best arcade in ct to play cvs2 and mvc2 im coming from socal advance player in mvc2 and cvs2 sorta money matches and i know how to run a tournament and if you guys want i can run one for you ill be out there april 12th night flight be there like april 13th morning
