There are good anti airs, but they aren’t necessarily the same moves that were AA in SF4. So far lots of people playing seem thrown by the fact that SRKs aren’t dominating jump-ins.
Conversely, no-one wants to jump in on Hugo. It is like he has Gen’s crane super at all times.

i’ve seen dhalsim hit people out of the air and get a full combo out of it, so yeah, some characters can really anti-air
EX DPs look really good at anti-air, and for two bars total you can land huge damage combos with a tag. With how fast you build meter in this game, I don’t think AAing will be a problem for characters with historically good DPs… might just have to spend the meter instead.
Plus, if you do happen to find a good AA normal, remember that any ground-to-air counterhit gives a juggle state and huuuge damage once people learn to confirm that. It’s probably best there aren’t a ton of dominating AA normals, IMO.
