That is literally the complete opposite of true. They publicly called each other frauds on their shows, repeatedly. They held Barfights with the Mike Ross/Jago “grudge” match as the main event. The theatrical rivalry was entirely manufactured by them.
It was pretty obvious that they were playing up their rivalry, which was just fine with me and probably with everybody else. Exaggerate the drama a bit, who cares, maybe it’ll generate some more hype. But to find out that they had literally everything planned out – down to how they were going to walk away from the camera after Mike won the Cross Assault match – is just ridiculous.

It was obvious from the start that this beef was fake as fuck, but that 5-0 from Barfights in Marvel was about right, Jago has a better team and is a better player in Marvel. As for tonight who gives a fuck, they and most of them were probably splitting the money anyway, which happens a fuckload in the first place and they probably wanted Mike to give him a 5-0 back so Gootechs could hype up a Barfights match in SFxTK down the line as the decider.
