See I didn’t think it was staged and I didn’t think their rivalry was as BAD as they/everyone made it out to be. I knew they were exaggerating it and all but I didn’t think they’d stage the outcome of the match and shit.
I agree with the other poster, my views on Mike Ross has changed a bit. 
Nah, at least with the JP rivalries, they actually go to the US, steal money from the ‘tops’ and go home to be family men.
Actually I think it happened before in Starcraft. I forgot the players name, but he threw some games in some betting scandal. That’s actually a shitload more than the 1k going on here though.

I think its been clear for a while that Floe has taken the people’s champ title, and this has only solidified it for me. I don’t really care if the match was staged or not, they can do whatever they want, but its not really ‘people’s champ’ material, y’know?

Who cares if the drama was staged or not, even if there was a possibility of the shit even being real. What matters is that two participants basically scammed the outcome by sandbagging/losing on purpose to share winnings. Regardless of esports, hype, or Miranda’s delicious thighs, that is, by all competitive standards…completely fucked up.

i knew the rivalry was staged…but i do kinda think that throwing a match for 1000 dollars in the home of the people who are paying you isn’t really right.
having said that, this is the same company that’s going to rape everyone silly with sfxt dlc, so i really don’t give a shit.
but yea, i don’t think that rigging matches is a good look, and ultimately i think that this is going to cost mike ross and jago down the line. they’ll probably have to pay that money back.
