I’m looking for ways to keep opponents in the corner instead of ending the combo with FS or TT. So far all ive come up with is to do nj.HK after the cr.HP juggle, keeps the opponent in the corner and might lead to a mixup opportunity. Is this actually viable? also do i even want to keep my opponent in the corner or is abels mixup game stronger midscreen?

I like to finish with sweep when in the corner. You can cancel sweep into lp falling sky to build a little meter or cancel into roll to play the side switch game.

ah yeah that should have been an obvious one haha thanks. I recently saw this match (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVyTqcqaKQ4) where 801 strider finished with standing HK in the corner, but it might be just for the jump back mk setup to catch the chicken wing.

also this has probably been answered but i couldnt find it, is cr.HP xx HK roll xx strong FS universal or is it character specific?

It’s been a while since I tested this but IIRC, it’s character specific, but cr.HP xx HK roll, jab FS is universal.

That’s news to me.

And to me as well, because I can’t get it to work in training mode on Yun, though he is a small character.

It’s probably something we all know about but never bothered to bring up becaue we figure everyone else does, but I’d like to put it out there anyway. Obviously it’s a huge tax on resources, but it does 391 damage, so if you have the bar and are looking to score that last bit of damage, I say go for it. Rather than having to rely on the OH in end-game situations, you can actually use it earlier on, possibly saving the trouble of having to land one more mixup, one more combo etc.

Triangle : hard to connect, need to be really close/point blank or else wont connect.
Circle: easy to connect but if distance slightly apart, becomes harder to connect (still possible)
Double circle: the easiest to connect, even with a slight distance apart
