His 2’s team, with Nuki (CH) got beat out by Akimo(Honda) and Bea(Rufus). Such is life. Pretty sure they can attempt to qualify again, but I’m not really sure how or where that all works in Japan.
At any rate, Daigo aside, most of the big players in Japan will be at SBO for sf4, it should be amazing. Uryo should of picked a better teammate though, as he seems to have pulled all the weight to get into SBO.
Hopefully Daisho or Uryo can help bring their team a victory, I wanna see Viper on top of the world for a bit

Chibita/SHU/Kurita is such a god damn beastly team. My pick for winning SBO right there. I play against Hauru and Fuumin regularly and those two are absolutely crazy in 5R too… I can barely keep up with how fast they move sometimes.
If anything I think daigo may show up at the last chance qualifiers thing that are held at the place itself (at least i think they are).
Last Chance Qualifiers for 2v2s are generally limited to 32 teams, with 2 to 4 spots for foreign teams and the rest for Japanese teams. So, 100+ Japanese teams wanting to play in Last Chance will be drawn out of a hat randomly to get one of those 30-or-so spots.
Nobody intentionally just tries to qualify in Last Chance, because the odds of actually making it into the bracket are so slim. The only way to have a guaranteed chance to qualify is to enter a regular arcade qualifier.
daigo and nuki will qualify for sure
same thing with momochi and kindevu…they ARE going to qualify no matter what
BUT if they dont then it just shows there are better players than them for SBO
still waiting on some power house teams for 3s :sad:

I’ve only heard of one Ogawa that plays fighting games. Also this guy qualified from the same arcade that the Eddie player goes to (Club Sega).
I searched Ogawa (his kanji) on nico and it could not find one SF4 match.
You sure you’re not confusing Ogawa with Togawa (who already qualified for SBO with Ryu)?
Also there’s a Kuroda that qualified for FUC, but after seeing the winner’s photo, we now know that it’s not the same 3S Kuroda…
Besides, we’ll know for sure if it’s THE Ogawa once they update the Tougeki site with results and pictures of the winners…
