I asked ShadoeX for his 2001 vid but he said he doesn’t have it on his PC anymore but he’ll ask his friend for it and upload it for you.
As for matanza, sadly I lost his collection years ago, but I can always ask him for them although I barely ever see him around these days. 
Me and him used to talk on msn a few years back, He’s a cool guy. His combo knowledge is amazing as well. Wonder what he’s up to nowadays. Probably still on that 56k lol.

You should look into the other MvC2 videos around to get an idea of what has been done before. A lot of the stuff is OK dexterity wise, however, it’s really old and – as you said, uninspired. Keep trying to do stuff though, it’s always nice to see to see people doing MvC2, the game is so explored that it’s hard to do anything good without programmable controllers.
Yeah, pretty much, although those combo vids were maded to give people ideas about teams for certain characters, because back then it came to my mind questions like what team fits Thanos, what team fits Dhalsim? and stuff, so basiclly that was the purpose, did not concentrated to much on new stuff, although in my very humble opinion, the Thanos video was something really fresh, never have seen someone to move Thanos like i showed on that vid, don’t know if someone actually did …

Btw, back there, i posted a Thanos/Sentinel/Tron combo that thought would be very awesome, with 5 tags and 6 hyper combos, but couldn’t put it off, mainly because the timing is very strict, but i think it’s possible, maybe not… but if it is, maybe with a programmable pad will be easy to perform, it’s:
sent drones, lk, lp, mp, hk, bubble, drones hits followed by bubble, c.lk, c. mp, c. hp (launcher), lk, mp, mk, titan crush (lp), hk (otg), titan crush (hp) xx Soul xx HSF, tag Thanos (after sentinel force), bubble, tag Tron, qcf + pp (before falling) xx power, bubble (inmediatly after power) , tag Sentinel, Rocket Punch (before falling) xx HSF, tag thanos, bubble, tag Sentinel, Rocket Punch xx HSF, hk (launcher), lp, Rocket Punch (hp), hp, hk.
So if you wanna try it out, you are free to do it
