well, if youre in any way involved with the scene/culture you shouldnt be surprised by the monster that we call the resell market. $100 for a shirt in the general way of thinking is pretty expensive. but youre not talking about a general market. $100 is actually considered somewhat the average price for a shirt in low quanity and high demand. but it all works in some sick and funny way for hypebeasts. if it wasnt for hype which equals resell, you prolly wouldnt have had any intentions in paying $200+ for more than half the sneakers you own. hype doesnt only apply to sneakers bro. it applies to everything. when you get older and youve been into it for a long enough time, more likely than not you will get into more subtle/simple shit and youre life will be alot easier along with your financial status.

i’d be careful about doing that… that guy might just be selling fakes.
i’m saying this because although i don’t like dior shades i know that they run in the range of $200 - $300 msrp, and the bid being that low right now makes me really suspicious. on top of that, the picture listed there isn’t even taken by the seller. it’s some kind of catalog pic from dior or a retailer. and to be completely honest, i kind of have a feeling the shade in that pic might be some kind of fake too. i wouldn’t even think about bidding on something like that unless the seller is posting multiple pictures of the actual product in detail, plus list the model number. and fyi, luxury shades (anything $200+) are manufactured in europe so that’s one easy way to distinguish things. so stuff like prada, versace and dolce & gabbana are all manufactured in italy… while cheaper consumer brand shades like polo and dkny that run from <$100 ~ <$200 are usually manufactured in locations like china.
and shades are something i would try it on in stores. i personally would stress the importance of trying them on more than shoes and on the same level as pants. i say this because although you might think “shades are shades, they will all fit,” that’s not true at all. there are many different styles and frame sizes, and they will look quite differently on each person.
i’m saying this out of personal experience, because i’ve bought quite few pairs of luxury brand shades in the past year or so.
the best store option would be sunglass hut, as they usually have the widest selection and the store personnel will take a good care of you. one minus is that they usually don’t sell anything under msrp, and don’t mark down anything unless it’s months old. but shades usually don’t sell much cheaper than their msrp in the first place. other good option would be glass specialists (although they usually don’t have the latest selections) and department stores like bloomingdale’s and nordstrom.

sz.15 is crazy big. I’m pretty sure it’d be hard to get the more limited shit because they either don’t go past sz.11 or 13 and celebrities with huge feet cop off ebay. In other words good luck.
actually if he was a size 14 there is a CRAZY deal going on right now. like i said in the other thread he made, yeah its hard to find stuff in that size but when you do, it will more than likely be very cheap in comparison with what we have to pay.
I know this is the clothes thread but I was hoping maybe someone in here could help me out finding some sunglasses. My current ones are busted and I figured since my b-day is coming up I’d treat myself to some nice high quality sunglasses since my eyes are pretty sensitive to light and I need new ones anyways. I’m looking for some polarized mirrored aviator sunglasses, I’m talking bout dem Sundown from Top Gun shades. Anybody know of any good quality shades that fit the bill? I know there’s that eluxury site and stores like sunglasses hut but all of their sunglasses seem to be for fashion purposes only and have the newer funky style aviators. I want some classic style aviators that actually perform and not just for looking good. Thanks.
