Alright I am asking for the opinion of the clothes thread. I have not bought a new pair of kicks in too damn long so I’m treating myself this week. I am getting some high-top dunks most likely, but if there is some other sick high-tops I can spot I could get them. Can you guys suggest some nice high-tops, and keep in mind I am not a thug, I wear tight pants, and I wear fairly vibrant clothing. I’m looking for something sharp and eye-catching. So if you feel like helping me out, it would be appreciated.

Just picked up 2 pairs of the same shoe. They are the old school LJ’s. The grand -ma-ma’s, all white converse’s. Picked them both up for a total of $50.

I always wash my jeans a few times before I wear them out. Or I just buy some of that shit they sell at champs or foot locker that takes that stuff off your shoes.

sams come with arcs and tabs. i’m only into the S0500 and the 5000VX, though so maybe you’re looking at another model or thinking about another company. my sams arrived today but i wasn’t here to get them…i’ll pick them up on saturday and take pics. they have the arcs and tab, though. they’re 17oz 5000VX.
samurai will stop using arcs and tabs sometime next year, iirc. american sites/stores aren’t allowed to sell japanese denim with red tabs because of levi’s lawsuit, so they take the tabs and arcs off. like so:
…and if levi made better quality denim and was less about mass production and more about quality overall then they wouldn’t have anything to worry about. as it is now, japanese denim in the american market is very much a small niche…
