Probably because I was exposed to Abercrombie and American Eagle when I was into high school, and bought into them for a while. But just can’t get rid of the ‘suburban kids’ image in my mind.

One of my friends told me the exact same thing.
I wanted to get a pair of cement Jordan I Phat Low today, but none of my joints had it. 
So decided to peek around random clothing stores. Armani Exchange (bring on the hate) had 30% off all jeans and additional 20% off sales items. Got a decent looking pair of destroyed that was originally $145 for $45.
Does anybody know the release date for Spring Supreme 09 begin?

the only thing i have by american eagle is the trenchcoat. its not like i have a couple of items by them. with that said, if they were to release more items that i liked, i would being to “wear” their clothing.
the trench coat is almost identical to the sutherland trench coat j crew has, but its only like a fourth of the price. its not always about the brand but about the look and fit, IMO.
same thing with hollister. the m65 is the only thing i have by them. i actually went in there because my gf wanted to go (no, she’s not white). i was like eh, on the way back. we went on the way back, i saw something i liked, i tried it on and copped. i definitely will be checking for their jackets more often.

i’m not offended tho. i understand how/why somebody would associate hollister/abercrombie and american eagle with white kids in the suburbs and/or white teenagers. thats who they target.

Meh, I’d stay away from CA. I have 5 shirts from them, and one of them, part of the neck’s stitching is starting to come off. I won’t lie though, they do look bad ass. Not worth the price on them though unless you can get them for cheap.

Audigier designs are cool, but I would never pay $200+ for a tee. :lol:
Feel pretty much the same way about D&G. Stay true and stick with Dolce & Gabanna, imo. Then again, I just shopped at Armani Exchange over the weekend so that kind of tosses my argument out of the window.

Ehhhh… I guess I will take it, if that’s as close as we will ever get.
I don’t think it would have hurt for Nike/Kanye to put some more color accents in it, though (like the AM’s). Just having the pink or orange trace couple of seams would have made big difference in impression of that pair, imo.
Also, I always wondered but how does the lace clip work on the Yeezy?
EDIT: Parts of the shoe remind me a lot of Spiz’ike.

these look like imitation high end designer sneakers.
fake raf simmons, etc.
creative recreations look better than these. these are too bulky. i’m happy to see the return of the 4/4 high top. i’m happy to see straps and zippers and all that on sneakers nowadays but this shoe’s midsole is like twice the size of the already clunky af1.
but i’ll probably still get at least one colorway just because. if they can get a back to the future like colorway that isn’t 1000 dollars then i’ll cop. wishful thinking, probably. oh well.

this shoe is not creative at all. kanye had the opportunity to come up with his own sneaker under nike and he comes up with an ugly spizike. newsflash, spizike’s have already been made! jordan force ones or whatever that bull that nike has been releasing has already came out!
why not come out with something new?
something 4/4, something with straps and zippers and all of that but something that does not look like a pair of spizikes?
or if you aren’t that creative, why not come out with what everybody wants anyway? something as close as possible to the mcfly’s??

i mean ugliness is subjective. i think mcfly’s are dope. then again, i like diet butchers, atos (minus the A on them), a lot of raf simmons stuff, etc.
i wish 4/4 hightops were the norm. midtop “hightops” were garbage from the start, IMO.

I think it looks a lot better in that pic. I wasn’t sure before, but I definitely want a pair now. DJ AM colorway won’t be out until June, unfortunately.
