Are there any actually decent brands? I’ve been looking at stuff from Killer Bee and some other companies, but it seems most lines are heavy into that gothic skull bullshit or look like stuff rockers/emos would wear. (Affliction/Tapout, I’m talking to you). :sad:

I really like a lot of the affliction stuff, but 60 dollars a shirt? Fuck no, I got an affliction shirt on sale at the mall not too long ago, for 20 dollars. Their board shirts are also priced at 70+ dollars. It’s not really affliction’s designs as much as their ridiculous prices.
But I notice that’s another problem with MMA lifestyle wear overall, if not for obnoxious prices, for the lack of variety in clothing. There’s more variety in boxing lifestyle clothing than there is MMA imo. >_>
I’ve always felt more comfortable in baggy jeans then I have skinnies. Skintight jeans for me are a no, let the emos have them. >_<

I can’t stand the whole MMA clothing look, it’s so generic.
MMA clothing is a lil, to clich for me.
Like they cater to that crowd, so of course you have to have Skulls, Dragons, Blood, Japanese characters, big BOLD letters. Shit like that. It’s just not creative to me.
If it was a bit more, outside the boxish maybe I’d buy it. But the thing’s I listed are generally associated with MMA clothing so I couldn’t see myself wearing a lot of it.
I do love Affliction thermals for some reason though.

Get 510s for crotch crushingly emo skinny, even spandex is used as materials lol. 501s are the classic Levis jeans that are baggy by today’s standards, but its a classic and comfortable look that’d probably never go outta style and my personal fave.
There’s a grip of high quality denim: Evisu, Samurai, Dior, etc. If you’re really trying to perfect your look go check out the various fashion forums online.

I saw Ed Hardy in the local Burlington Coat Factory.
Ed Hardy and LRG both blew up in my High School this year.
LRG, I really didn’t have a problem with until people started wearing it, so it wasn’t so “New” anymore.
Ed Hardy though, I’ve always found that shit corny. The shirt’s are like you are wearing an ugly Tattoo, the shoes are also hideous. The Hat’s are ugly and even uglier for their price. The pants I always liked a little better than than the Shirts and Hats though that isn’t saying much.
I’m more into that Japanese popish/Japanese graffiti look than more Skulls, knifes, snakes, dragons, with a token clich sounding phrase. Not even necessary the Kid Robot look, but just a lot more subtle stuff.

Well I’m just now finding out about them, and like I said earlier I found that Japanese Pop/J-Graffiti artstyle to be pretty cool looking. Mostly because the colors that they use.
Couldn’t say if they were trying to rip BAPE or not. They’ve told me here that it was mostly worn around the NY area
