Haha what’s up man, I didn’t think I would even do that well in that game because I don’t know many technical things in it like you do, but I do have a lot of years of fighting game experience, and I really like that games engine, it reminds me of like SVC Chaos, which I loved, and KoF and a bit of 3S since it’s kind of solid even though it got mad sick combo factors.
I will practice with someone else so you don’t get bored next time, but Fuma has been my nigga since World Heroes lol, so I always will somehow use him.

Anyway here’s a nice story involving Omar(not Briggs, TX K Groove Rock)
At evo this year like Mon morning, there was a party at this club/bar at the hotel.
Omar got WASTED. Went up to play games with the japanese. Leaves the room to make a call.
Goes back to a random door and well…
Omar : "Com’on guys it’s Omar let me in."
Person behind door: "we don’t know anyone by that name."
O : "Com’on guys I can hear you."
P : "Go away"
O: “Oh I see how it is, you want to turtle it down. I’ll wait right here.”
So he’s fuckin sitting in front of this random persons door waiting for them to open it up. Apparently the old lady inside was so scared that she called security and the japanese got kicked out of their room.
Omar went to the wrong room, he went 2 doors down instead of 1, freaking out an old lady in the process.
Later on the same night, because of this i’m guessing, random room searches were done and people who had more than 4 people in the room were kicked out. They all go to DSPs room, why I don’t know. But about 10 minutes in DSP has like 50 people in his room. lol

I’m also playing CVS2… trying to master the P groove in it (3S FOR LIFE!)
I wanna get more into NGBC and MBR and GGXX since I got all the good fighting games for PS2… I get more practice time. And in two months, I will move back close to CF, so I’ll be a regular loser again, yay!
And yeah, I wish more people get into NGBC… it’s a really good game, I slept on it at first, but once I got it… it’s awesome.

Mr. Fantastic and I are thinking about running a tourny for CvS2 and 3s on the 16th, maybe the 23rd of Sept.
We’ll run CvS2 and we figure KOFiend or Sayid can run 3s.
The question is, who would actually go to this? Since things have been slow at CF, gotta put the idea out there.

Times and Rules of the tournaments
All Pots are split 70/20/10
Sign ups are from 5pm ( opening of casual fridays ) - 6:50pm
We will use the CRT televisions.
VF4 Tournament - ( Cancelled until Shag is able to attend)
GGXXS Tournament - Sign-ups: 6:30pm
Tournament Starts: 7:30pm
Tournament Entry fee: $10
Overall cost of the event= $10 event fee + $10 tournament fee = $20
Rules:
Gameplay is default: 2/3 rounds, timer set at 99. In-game button mapping and macros are allowed.
Best 2/3, double elim. Grand Finals 3/5.
No gold/shadow/ex characters. No Kliff/Justice.
CVS2 Tournament - 7:00PM
* Double Eliminatiom
* 2 out of 3 per match. Loser Bracket is One match.
* Until they lose a round you cannot change your character.
* Entry fee - $2 per person
3s Tournament - 9:00PM ( depends on if cvs2 is finished by then but we will start appox. here)

If these tournaments work out I can convince my boss to hold them on a seperate day from casual friday and have 300-600 bucks for first and 100-300 for second and so forth. Thats just for a local. Show your support everyone.
Talk to Mike (infinite) to hold a MvC2 and RF2 (yes I said RF2, let’s bring that piece of shit back) tournament on the same day Nick, post that shit up ASAP!
