And yea, one of the workers who I knew pretty well at the time (I dont even remember his name anymore :lol:) , got really bored so he asked me if I wanted to stamp peoples hands. I was look “w00t! Hell yea!” (<<<Yea at that time, I thought it was great).
how does that work? u just what set the guts of a machine in the arcade and start playing?
How do you figure? As an employee I liked it better under old management as far as how employees were treated…and im not sure how u believe the arcade as a business is doing any better under new management???
So anyways, any of you able to go thur. night? Ill be there at 7ish and stay there till midnight to get some nostalgia
He said that because Amar is the man. He actually LISTENS to what we, the players, suggest and ask for. Not to mention, he’s a pretty cool guy himself.
He’s one of the reasons Chicago’s SF community is still around today.

I am viewing from a consumer standpoint. Problem with the sticks, tell Amar and he looks into it right away, same with the buttons. Thats what I care about, not how employees are treated. I dont want a bunch of stoned ass people trying to fix something when most likely they’re going to make it worse.
EDIT: See people in the scene now know what I am talking about.
EDIT AGAIN: As far as I can tell Amar treats his employees well. I dont know how it is behind the scenes or towards closing time.

But ive definitely gotten a huge nostalgia trip lately and ill probably be there more often if a bunch of you make it down there sometimes.
