you can just go to chill, talk to people, and play some fighting games that you enjoy.

yes, fighting game competition was born out of the arcades, but you don’t have to be a competitive player to enjoy an arcade.
some people may simply find that more enjoyable then spending $15 to go 2 and out.

I can’t blame them, gga has a nice selection of games and a good classic arcade environment.

I still don’t get how hurting your fingers on buttons that weren’t designed for fighters preserves an arcade. Hell I started playing in Arcades 20 years ago and I can’t remember seeing an arcade with concave buttons in any machine aside from the OLD 70s/80s classics. But I do applaud them for making the panels exchangeable.

Sorry for being such a zombie at the tourney, I had to work 12 hours of OT on Friday night into Saturday 11 AM so I was already going on 30 hours of being awake at the tournament. I felt like so weird like it was all a dream.

Playing in tournaments is for people who want to get better at tournament play. If you don’t want to get better then stay at home behind your internet tag. Fuck I went to go support with no fucking sleep, I wish others had that same dedication. Although I would like to add that casuals after tourney are rather fun and even spectating tournaments is also supporting!

And great games to everyone I had a chance to play with. I don’t get to come out often, since I live so far, but when I do, I always have an amazing time. Joe, you’re a great guy, and we all really appreciate what you’re doing, and what you have done for the community. I won’t be able to make it out in September, since the only weekend I have off is the weekend of Sept. 4th for the entire month, but I’ll be there in October for sure.
